Kuroyami is the slash ship between Fumikage Tokoyami and Shihai Kuroiro from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Fumikage and Shihai are both students at UA High School, Fumikage in Class 1-A and Shihai in Class 1-B. The two have similar Quirks, both utilizing the darkness.
Fumikage and Shihai are first shown together in the Joint Training arc, although they would have met each other prior. They are paired on opposing teams for training, and are the second round of matches. Shihai speaks to Fumikage, mentioning how the two of them are very similar. Fumikage agrees, although seems unfazed by Shihai's comments. Shihai continues, calling them "brothers in the shadows". Fumikage seems to then truly recognize Shihai as one of his own, asking if he has also "stared into the abyss".
As the match begins, Fumikage sends Dark Shadow ahead to scout the enemy. However, Shihai quickly overtakes Dark Shadow using his Quirk, then uses Dark Shadow to attack Fumikage. He then calls out to Fumikage again, saying that the two of them share a destiny. Fumikage agrees, calling them rivals. He then announces his newest move, "Dark Fallen Angel". Shihai laughs at the name and calls it "dramatic". He then grabs Yuga Aoyama, forcing Fumikage to fly after them. Although Yuga is captured, Fumikage refuses to give up. He manages to pin down both Shihai and Kinoko using his Quirk, trapping Shihai in the darkness of his cloak. Fumikage is seen holding the cloak tightly in his hands, with Shihai's eyes blinking out at him. Despite all this, however, Shihai's team manages to win the battle.
Later that same day, Fumikage and Shihai seem to have put their rivalry behind them. They are shown happily talking together, both intrigued by Izuku Midoriya's new Quirk, Blackwhip. That evening the two classes gather for a celebratory dinner. Fumikage is seen speaking with Shihai's crush, Kinoko. Shihai watches on with jealousy as the two talk about Hawks.
In the Team Up Missions manga, the two are invited on a mission with Izuku. They are quick to discuss the darkness, again speaking fondly about how their destinies are tied together. Izuku notes that they are both incredibly similar and seem to get along well. It turns out that the three students were summoned by a fellow chunibyo, a Pro-Hero named Odd-Eye. He uses his Quirk to attempt to bring out the "darkest secrets" of the students, but when used on Fumikage it only awakens Dark Shadow. Izuku and Shihai must fight together in an attempt to restrain Fumikage's Quirk. Shihai even points out that he cannot control Dark Shadow when it is in such a deranged state. Eventually, Odd-Eyes' sidekicks help them get Dark Shadow under control, and the trio return to UA.

Fanon[]
Kuroyami is considered a "rarepair" in the fandom, due to Shihai being one of the more minor characters from Class 1-B. Still, it is Shihai's second most popular ship, rivalling only the semi-canon KuroMori in popularity. The ship likely sailed as a result of all of the similarities between Fumikage and Shihai. They are both chunibyos who are obsessed with darkness, and their manner of speak and playful delusions can make for a fun dynamic.
