LaurElre is the het ship between Lauriam/Marluxia and Elrena/Larxene in the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
Canon[]
In Kingdom Hearts Union χ Marluxia and Larxene were once Lauriam and Elrena who were once keyblade wielders way long before Sora, Lauriam one of the Union leaders seeks the aid of Elrena, who is friends with Lauriam's sister Strelitzia for her wherabouts as she has gone missing. They continue to meet, trying to solve the mystery together. Elrena is very determined to help him and is very sadden to see Lauriam frustrated for not finding Strelitzia. At some point both Lauriam and Elrena both become a heartless but their strong will lets them continue on as nobodies, they are recruited into Organization XIII as Marluxia and Larxene by Xigbar and Xaldin, Marluxia being Rank XI and Larxene becoming XII, the two of them reunite as nobodies but neither of them have memories of their previous life. Thinking their superior Xemnas doesn't have the best interests in them the two begin to plot against the Organization by overthrowing Xemnas.
Marluxia and Larxene are sent to Castle Oblivion along side three senior members, Vexen, Lexeaus and Zexion and the organizations assassin, Axel to manipulate Sora. Marluxia is placed as lord of Castle Oblivion and begins his operations with Larxene. Axel also joins them as well they manipulate a girl named Namine has the ability to shuffle memories in order to use Sora as their puppet around the same time Sora had just defeated Maleficent and Ansem. All three of them do their part in guiding Sora through the castle as Namine manipulates his, Donald and Goofy's memories. Meanwhile the senior members Zexion, Lexeaus and Vexen find out Marluxia Larxene and Axel are planning to take over the organization and use manipulate Riku into fighting Sora in order to prevent their coup from succeeding.
Vexen creates the Riku Replica and pretends to join forces with them in order to spy on them. Marluxia and Larxene eventually learn that Vexen has been reporting back to Lexaeus and Zexion regarding their revolt, so Marluxia has Axel kill Vexen while they as revealed in the Manga go wasted celebrating. However while they are away, Axel betrays them by letting Namine go thus ruining their plans, this causes an angry Larxene to physically abuse Namine and to attempt to murder Sora however Donald and Goofy rescue Sora and she is defeated leaving only Marluxia to carry out the plot. Axel confronts Marluxia where the latter finds out Axel was only spying on them to eliminate him and Larxene they fought Marluxia incites Sora to fight Axel but Axel manipulates Sora into eliminating Marluxia for him. Lauriam and Elrena would eventually be recompleted when Sora defeats Xemnas.
Despite their open attempt of overthrowing Xemnas, Master Xehanort revives their nobodies to be apart of the Real Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts III as he needs thirteen vessels to forge the χ-blade both Marluxia and Larxene are tasked of locating the new seven hearts in Kingdom of Corona and Arendelle respectively. After they visited those worlds, Marluxia and Larxene reunited at the Keyblade Graveyard. Marluxia asks Larxene why she is back she jokes "Nice way to greet your old partner in crime" to which Marluxia smirks at her. Larxene asks Marluxia why Xehanort brought them back despite him potentially knowing they they appented to overthrow Xemnas. Marluxia responds that Xehanort could care less about them because he sees them as empty husks.
Larxene responds she is not a husk and proposes to throw another coup against Xehanort but Demyx appears and mocks them for their fail attempt at the original and Luxord also appears as all explaining he had a role to play. Their old superior, Xemnas appears before them where he reveals the reason the four of them were brought back, the ancient keyblade legacy the slumbered in them much to their shock.
Once the Keyblade war between the Real Organization XIII and Guardians of Light begins, Marluxia Larxene and Luxord fight King Mickey with the latter managing to hold them on his own. Sora arrives and give the king backup but the King is trapped in a card by Luxord and forces Sora to take part in his game while Marluxia and Larxene attack Sora. Sora manages to defeat Luxord and free Mickey they then fight Marluxia and Larxene and defeat them. Upon defeat, Marluxia slowly begins regain his memories as Lauriam, he personally thanks Sora while Larxene upset by her defeat is rather happy she is no longer going to be used as a pawn for Master Xehanort, she explains to Sora that she was only along for the ride and nothing more when Sora asks who she replies "My Secret!" in a genuine playful tone. They are both later recompleted as their somebodies.
As their original selves as Lauriam and Elrena, they were shown to be very close as Elrena was close friends with Lauriam's sister Strelitzia as as result he seeks her help in finding her. Being close with his sister, Elrena is determined to help Lauriam and is very saddened when Lauriam was unable to find her sister. Elrena's Chirithy comments how its not normal for her to go out of her way to help someone as she is keeps mostly to herself.
As nobodies Marluxia and Larxene are shown to get along quite well in fact well enough they they planned to overthrow Xemnas, the Organization's leader openly without caring they would risk being eliminated. In the manga of Chain of Memories, after Axel had killed Vexen on Marluxia's orders the two of them get wasted in celebration. When Larxene learns that Axel betrayed her and Marluxia by using Namine to let her escape their grasp in order eliminate the traitors, she gets rather angry and upset that her plans were ruined to the point she physically abuses Namine and tries to kill Sora only to defeated and fade away instead.
Most noticeably Marluxia is noticeably the only member of the organization whom Larxene does not treat as as inferior to her as she is shown to not get along with any of the other organization members, this is most noticeably shown in Kingdom Hearts III when Marluxia asks Larxene why she is back she responds "Nice way to greet your old partner in crime!" in a sarcastic but rather friendly tone causing Marluxia to smirk at her, a few moments later she asks him if he wants to overthrow the Real Organization XIII while pointing her finger next to her mouth while smiling, but Marluxia rejects the idea this time, Demyx appears and she goes back to usual self and laughs at him when he reveals he was benched even though Demyx doesn't seem to care, she is annoyed when Luxord joins as well asking him if this is "Organization Rehash" and expresses her disgust when their old Superior Xemnas appears.
When Sora fights them in the Keyblade graveyard during the boss fight Marluxia can be heard telling Larxene to "stop playing" to which Larxene responds "yeah yeah". When Sora defeats Marluxia he laughs at remembering his true purpose and genuinely thanks Sora for letting him be human again as he has regain his memories as his time as a human possibly including his time with Elrena. When Sora defeats Larxene she is initially upset about her second defeat but then tells Sora it could be worse, she would rathe be destroyed than be Xehanort's vessel, Sora asks her why she joined, she explains she only went along for the ride, Sora asks whom she responds "My Secret" while genuinely smiling at Sora before vanishing, Implying she only rejoined just so she can be with Marluxia.

LaurElre is one of the more popular ships within the Kingdom Hearts series. It is the most popular ship for both Lauriam/Marluxia and Elrena/Larxene. The ship first became popular in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, where they first appear as Marluxia and Larxene and betray the Organization, serving as the main antagonists of Sora's story. The ship increased in popularity when it was revealed in Kingdom Hearts Union χ that Lauriam and Elrena not only knew each other before they both became nobodies and joined the organization, but also that they were very close friends. LaurElre then received another increase in popularity in Kingdom Hearts III where during Larxene's death scene she reveals that she only re-joined the organization so that she could be with Marluxia again, revealing that she may have romantic feelings for him.
