Lavender Winter is the poly ship between Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Willow Park and Hunter from the The Owl House fandom.

Canon[]

Willow saves Luz and Gus from the lockers, Luz goes and hugs her and poofs her hair. Luz hopes she joins her and Amity in the Azura book club and Willow reveals flyer derby. Hunter becomes friends with Willow in "Any Sport in a Sport" and joins her flyer derby team officially. When he saves her from Darius, Willow's anger at him for tricking her into joining the emperor's coven goes away and she starts to see him as a team member, telling them they need to find a replacement until it's his break day. Luz and Amity were seeking for the author of the good witch Azura book and eventually discovered it was all a sham, however still enjoyed making theories. Willow shows Amity and Luz the group picture of the Emerald Entrails when Luz asks, Luz and Amity look at each other, surprised and scream "What?!"

The first episode that Lavender Winter was seen together as a whole group in was "Clouds on the Horizon". Luz is angry to know she has a security escort, until she realizes it is Willow and Gus, Luz is happy to see them. Luz gives them a hug and cries, Luz is surprised to see Hunter and asks if he is really up for this and almost reveals that he is a grimwalker. Hunter quickly covers it up, Luz is confused by how Hunter and Gus are friends, Willow tells her that this is what happens when you go missing for a week. Hunter talks privately with Luz and tells her not to mention that he is a grimwalker, Luz tells Hunter that Willow and Gus seem to like him. Hunter brings up how she helped Belos and how she hasn't told them yet. He admits he overheard everything and begs Luz not to tell them, Luz nods in agreement. Willow and Hunter protect Luz from an abomaton, Willow helps Luz get up.

Luz blushes when she sees Amity and overhears her talking. Amity wants to fix it to get a message to Luz, Amity tells the blight twins that she just wants to know that Luz is safe. The twins ask what Luz would say to her right now, Amity says something dorky but also sweet and Luz comes into her room and tells her she would say all that. Amity and Luz are very happy to see each other, they run up to each other and hug, Luz tells Amity that she will take her out on a real date. Amity tells her she knows before kissing her, they are both surprised by the kiss and then Amity tells her that she needs her help to tell her parents about the draining spell; Luz is eager to help and tells her that she, Willow and Hunter (and Gus) are here to help her. Amity is confused by what she means, she stares out of the balcony and spots Hunter, Willow and Gus, who were waiting for them the entire time. The pair then smile at each other.

Later on, the group is seen sneaking to the Blight factory and they pretend to be coven scouts. However, they get caught and trapped. Amity is seen angry after Odalia insults Luz and breaks out her chains, Hunter, Luz and Willow are seen shocked and surprised. Kikimora is seen bothering Hunter, Luz commands her to leave him alone. Later, Luz (Hunter) is seen zooming in to rescue Willow. "Hunter" (Luz) gets taken by Kikimora, the others are extremely worried. Willow tries to attack her but Kikimora puts Hunter (Luz) in front of her to defend herself, Willow quickly stops. The others are eager to rescue "Hunter" (Luz), however, they find out that Luz was the one who was taken and it was all an illusion.

In "King's Tide", Hunter and Amity want to get to Luz quickly and are very tense. Willow asks her palismen to give Hunter, Amity and Gus food so they can calm down. Amity tells Hunter, Alador and Gus that they are all exhausted and terrified and they should use their energy to focus on saving Luz. When the airship crashes, Hunter is seen helping Willow get up, Amity wants to stay with her father but Willow pulls her as they have to leave. Hunter, Amity, Willow and Gus fly to get to Luz. Willow tells Luz that they are here to help, and Amity tells her that did she really think they would not follow her, Luz compliments the group. Amity, Luz, Hunter and Willow are seen attacking Belos. When Belos is about to attack the group, Luz and Amity hold onto each other and so do Hunter and Willow. Amity is seen begging Luz to come to the human realm with them, the group end up in the human realm.

Fanon[]

All characters within the ship are depicted as romantically paired, with the exception of Amiter (Amity and Hunter), due to Amity canonically being a lesbian; but still feature the two as friends, step-siblings or sometimes frenemies. Some fans do not ship romantically Willuz and prefer it platonically or they ship Lunter platonically. This ship is mainly a solution for those who ship Willumity, Huntlow and Lunter. This ship is semi-popular in the fandom, it receives a lot of attention and gets fan work made for it. Some fans like to add Gus and sometimes Vee to the ship, which is Hexsquad.

Trivia[]

  • The ship name is a combination of Lumity and Huntlow: "Lavender" starts with an L (like Luz) and is purple (like Amity's hair, which she dyed before kissing Luz on the cheek and Luz seemed to really like it), Lavender/Purple is also Luz's main color theme. "Winter" is an alternate ship name for Willow and Hunter. "Lavender" could also be read as an allusion to both Willuz and Amillow, since it's a type of plant, Willow and Luz have domain over plants.
