Lawrinda is the het ship between Linda Flynn-Fletcher and Lawrence Flynn-Fletcher in the Phineas and Ferb fandom.

Canon

Overview

Although much of their backstories have yet to be explored, such as exactly when they first met, we do know that Linda Flynn and Lawrence Fletcher supposedly met sometime in the 1980's, brought together by their shared fandom of Love Handel. In "Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Togerher", It was at a concert, where they, as a couple, shared a kiss as either teenagers or 20-somethings, after being prompted by Love Handel's lead singer, Danny, to do so. This was seen as one of the greatest moments in their relationships and it really brought them together as a couple. However, what really made Linda fall for Lawrence, at least according to her, was his references to history, as she mentioned in "Out to Launch".

Notably, Linda and Lawrence were already parents at this point in their lives, both having kids from previous marriages that had since ended. After a while, Linda and Lawrence got married, as seen in a photo from "Mom's Birthday", bringing the two families together. Linda and Lawrence would introduce their respective children together, as seen in a flashback from "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted!", making Ferb Fletcher from Lawrence's side of the family become step-siblings with Candace and Phineas Flynn from Linda's side of the family. Today, Linda and Lawrence are still a very happily married couple who lives in Danville with their beautiful blended family.

Series

In "Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together", Linda was pissed at Lawrence for unknown reasons. Lawrence tried to ask Linda why she was so mad but she didn't tell him, just expecting him to already know. She told him that today was a very important day and he just didn't seem to be aware. Lawrence asked if this was the day that he realized how cute Linda looked when she was angry but she did not find this amusing. Linda stormed off and left to go somewhere else and Candace reminded him that today was his anniversary with Linda. Lawrence knew that he needed to make things up to Linda by reuniting Love Handel just like on their unforgettable date back in the 80's. With the help of his three kids, he was able to do just that while Linda was away, leading to her getting a huge surprise when they returned. Linda was beyond astonished to see what Lawrence had put together for her and considered this to be a wonderful anniversary gift. During the concert, they re-created that moment from their date and kissed in the crowd just like before.

In "Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet Max Modem", Linda went back to being Lindana again for an 80's reunion concert. When Lawrence heard about how Linda lived an exciting double-life as a pop star back in the 80's, he worried that a normal guy like him was just too boring for his wife. He tasked Phineas and Ferb with helping turn him into a pop star named Max Modem and was able to spread mass misinformation about him having been highly relevant in the 80's, until the entire crowd was gaslit into believing he actually was an 80's star that everybody knew and they were all alone in not knowing about him sooner. When it was later revealed to Linda that Max Modem was actually Lawrence, she was flattered and impressed with his elaborate ploy but she told him that she didn't need him to be an 80's rock star, because she already loved him just the way he was.

In "The Mom Attractor", it was revealed that Lawrence used to make rhubarb crème brûlée for Linda back when they were still dating. Candace made one of these, not knowing it held so much sentimental value in their relationship.

In "Where's Perry?", Linda and Lawrence went on a family vacation to Kenya, Africa. When they got there, the main thing they wanted to do was go to the exotic fancy restaurant, Chez Afrique. When they got there, they were mesmerized with the elaborate eating establishment and genuine equatorial culture. Unfortunately, they ran into a bit of a hiccup, when checking in because the waiter told them that they did not have reservations. Lawrence and Linda sat in the waiting room, wondering just how this came to be. Shortly afterward, the waiter came back and apologized for his mistake, realizing that they actually were registered after all. There was just some confusion because on the list, they were listed under "Fletcher-Flynn" instead of "Flynn-Fletcher". This quickly resolved conflict was instantly forgotten, as Linda and Lawrence proceeded to Chez Afrique for a peaceful problem-free dining event.

In "The Last Day of Summer", Linda and Lawrence were shown in an alternate timeline where they never had kids. Most of the events that brought them together supposedly still happened, just without the existence of Phineas, Ferb, and Candace. They still lived in the same house in Danville, only now, they were a lot happier. They had a big party, just dancing in the living room to "Platypus Walk".

Fanon

Linda and Lawrence are a common ship in the fandom, due to how well the two mesh together as a married couple. The fact that they work as a perfectly healthy married couple makes them so charming and endearing to audiences so people love them together. Some people have even cited Linda and Lawrence's blissful married life as goals for their own relationships. There are 91 works about them on AO3. They are the most common ship for both parties. However, they are not without their rival ships. The most common rival ship is Lindoof, the ship between Linda Flynn and Heinz Doofenshmirtz, which is also canon to the series. Some people even go as far as to write fanfictions about Doofenshmirtz trying to get Linda back, causing a rivalry between him and her current husband, Lawrence.
