Librion is the slash ship between Libra and Virion from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Libra and Virion are allies of the shepherds in Fire Emblem Awakening. Virion is a noble archer from the country Rosanne on the continent of Valm, joining the army on chapter 1. Libra is a war monk grieving from Exalt Emmeryn's death who joins on chapter 9. The two are relatively decent units among the roster, however Virion being an archer may take some investment to for him to become a useful unit.
Supports[]
Libra and Virion have a set of unlockable support conversations, going from C-rank up to A-rank.
Their C-support begins with Libra collecting trash along the army's path when Virion spots him. Virion willingly takes a load of Libra's collection from his arms, which surprises Libra from the sudden lightness. Virion goes onto flirt with Libra, mistaking him for a woman. Libra corrects him, letting him know that it's alright and that it's a common occurrence, while Virion harrows over his mistake and apologizes several times. He compliments Libra's eyes unintentionally as Libra ushers him to continue helping him, prompting the conversation's end.
The B-support opens with Libra noticing Virion's left cheek being swollen and red, to which Virion tells him that he had seen a beautiful woman and asked her if she was a man. The woman then slapped Virion across the face, leaving his cheek swollen. Virion tells Libra that ever since their previous interaction, his mistake has left him worrying he would repeat it once again with another man. Virion continues, noting Libra's "soft, milky skin" and his "glowing, lustrous locks of hair" which led him to asking Libra about his lineage, wondering if he was a noble or better yet, a royal. Libra tells Virion that he grew up neglected in a poor household and only made his escape through finding the faith, to which Virion tells him that along with being exceedingly beautiful, he is a perseverant man. Libra becomes flustered, rejecting the praise.
The A-support begins with Libra working on collecting firewood for a local temple. Virion offers to help collect it as he notices Libra's pile is very large. Libra tells him that he can manage, but Virion insists. After a cut, Virion is seen struggling with the amount of wood Libra has chopped. Virion, tired, asks Libra who could've possibly collected all the wood surrounding them, Libra telling Virion it was himself and reminding Virion that they are not close to finishing. Viron then struggles to carry a pile of wood, consequentially falling and dropping all the wood. Followed by another cut, Viron wakes up faintly remembering being carried by strong arms. Libra makes sure Virion is doing all right, apologizing for overworking him. Virion blushes and mumbles to himself about Libra's manly features while looking at him, presumably looking up at him. Libra asks him if he said something, to which Virion quickly collects himself and assures him it was nothing. He thanks Libra for his help, to which Libra tells him it was nothing, and that he considers him "a trusted friend as well."
Harvest Scramble DLC[]
Both also have two optional dialogue sequences in the Harvest Scramble DLC, which is accessible when either one uses the Talk command in-battle.
Conversation 1 begins with Virion greeting Libra, followed by Libra asking him about what he has been up to. Virion then asks Libra if he would be willing to accompany him to tour the festival. Libra sees through this front, telling him this is just a ploy for him to "pick up village girls." Libra then turns down the offer, and worried, Virion asks him if he's all right. Libra tells him he feels helpless since he is incapable of helping an elderly couple with a severe illness. He continues, telling Virion that although a cure exists, it is far too much for him to afford. Understandingly, Virion lets Libra know that if he continues to pray, the help he wishes for may come "sooner or later." Doubting Virion, Libra asks him if he is just to wait for a miracle, to which Virion reminds him that out of all people, he should not be one to deny the faith. Libra apologizes and tells him he will continue to pray for them. Virion then says his goodbyes, walking away, ending the conversation.
Libra is in the midst of prayer at the start of Conversation 2, where Virion once again greets the man. Curious, Libra asks him if he took care of the business Virion mentioned previously. Virion says yes while handing Libra a flask, being the medicine Libra had previously mentioned. Libra now in shock asks him how he attained such a thing, to which Virion brushes it off, telling him the bigger concern is the couple in need of it. Libra persists with the questions, soon pointing out Virion's family heirloom dagger was missing. Virion first lies, but Libra sees right through him, so Virion confesses to having bartered it for the potion and plays down the dagger's value. Walking off, Virion reminds him to take the flask to the elderly couple. Unable to stop him, Libra smiles over the noble act of Virion giving up his dagger for the lives of the couple, calling it the miracle he had prayed for.
Fanon[]
This ship is mostly seen as a joke ship. Libra's feminine appearance and Virion initially thinking he is a woman are two of the biggest reasons for it's treatment as such. The ship isn't extremely unpopular, but the two both have more popular ships for them.
Both have a fully coded and implemented S-rank support conversation for the "Gay Awakening" hack by Unassuming Venusaur.
On AO3, it is the second most written ship for Virion and third most written ship for Libra. They have a total of 26 fanfictions on the site.
