Lightcannon is the femslash ship between Luxanna Crownguard and Jinx from the League of Legends fandom.
Canon[]
Canonically in the Runeterra universe, both of them have not met, since they are from different nations (Lux is from Demacia and Jinx from Zaun). However, Lightcannon started in the Star Guardians skins alternative universe. Both of them are in the same team called the Star Guardians. They fight against everything that wants to harm the universe. Lux is the Leader and Jinx is the Rebel. Both of those Roles tend to have a deep connection.
Star Guardian[]
Lux and Jinx in this universe are childhood friends, and Jinx is noticeably very protective of her friend - she asks Ezreal if he has any romantic intentions with Lux every chance she has, getting jealous of her attention on him. Lux has nightmares constantly, and in one of those nightmares, she sees Jinx dying. She wakes up immediately during class, afraid of what happened.
However, when she sees Jinx’s table as empty, she is worried again. This happened after they fought in one of their battles. Jinx betrayed or left the team once and Lux was in a terrible mental condition after their fight, but when Jinx came back to help the team fight against the all mighty Baron of the Rift, they grew closer to each other. Jinx is a troubled teenager and Lux is basically the only friend who does not give up on believing in her. Lux worries Jinx is at risk of leaving and falling into darkness. Despite this, both of them value their friendship above everything else.
Valoran Town[]
Episode One[]
The episode opens with Jinx narrating Lux’s situation in life using paper puppets of her and her brother. Jinx helps Lux sneak out of her family home so she can come live in the house Jinx is a tenant in. Lux uses Jinx’s gadget to disable a security drone in her family’s house, and Jinx gets upset when she refers to it diminutively.

Episode Two[]
Lux and Jinx greet each other at the beginning of the episode. Lux makes a dish for Jinx to try, which she scarfs down and then compliments, asking if there’s more.

Episode Three[]
Lux and Jinx eat at a restaurant together with the other tenants. While Ezreal is telling his story, Jinx pauses the footage to express her displeasure with it. Lux shushes her and then presses play.

Episode Four[]
When Lux comes out of her room Jinx excitedly runs over to her and tackles her in a hug. Lux expresses that she has to decorate her room so Jinx volunteers to help. She excitedly explores Lux's room then enthusiastically provides advice on how to decorate, none of which fits Lux's taste.

Episode Six[]
Lux falls into Jinx’s room through a trapdoor. Jinx is amused that she is in her room but is agitated by Ezreal — who also fell in — being there. Jinx calls Lux a “beauty”/“beautiful lady”. Lux tells Ezreal that Jinx is her best and only friend. Lux accidentally rides a missile out of Jinx’s room which Jinx calls, paraphrasing “a pretty cool way of exiting”.

Episode Eight[]
Ezreal, Lux, and Jinx shocked by Yone’s arrival.
Ezreal drags Jinx and Lux along to spy on Yasuo and they leave exasperated when they see that nothing suspicious is occurring. Ezreal, Jinx, and Lux are eating at Yasuo‘s restaurant when Yone arrives. When Yone gets knocked unconscious, they try to help him come to.
Episode Nine[]
Jinx and Ezreal try to help Lux cook and Jinx ends up causing an explosion that knocks out Ezreal. Yasuo and Yone make a dish for Lux and Jinx. Lux reaches for her phone to take a photo of it but Jinx takes a bite before she can.

Episode Ten[]
Lux has a calendar with Jinx drawn on it. Lux gets excited that Jinx is going to give her a present for her birthday and is disappointed when that isn’t the case. Lux’s phone wallpaper is shown to be a picture of her and Jinx. At midnight Jinx and the rest of the tenants burst in to wish her happy birthday. Lux says that her birthday has already passed to which Jinx looks at Lux’s calendar and notes that it is wrong. When Lux responds that it was Jinx who gave her the calendar, Jinx remarks that that is, paraphrasing, “such a me thing to do”.

Episode Eleven[]
Jinx helps set up Lux's birthday party and becomes upset when Lux's brother changes it into something she knows Lux wouldn't like.

Episode Twelve[]
Jinx trashes the remade birthday party. Lux comes home before the group can clean it up, but she likes the decorations and gifts anyway. Lux hugs her roommates appreciatively and calls them "the best friends in the world"

Fanon[]
Lightcannon is a decently popular ship that gained a good amount of attention when the Stars Guardians skins got released and when both of them appeared together in the Wild Rift ad. While this ship is often seen as a crack outside of the SG universe, it also gained some popularity after the release of the Arcane, when due to the re-increased popularity of Jinx and Cait x Vi shipping, some people tried to find similar ships for her as well.
Many fans of this pairing point out their similarities in the canon universe, like how both characters have a complicated relationship with their older siblings (and in contrast to Jinx, Lux looks put together to this fact, but she feels constrained in reality) and how Jinx can free Lux, a repressed girl, to get her wild side, like in the wild rift ad. Another thing that garnered this ship’s interest is mostly their contrasting-esque, Jinx being from Zaun (undercity) and Lux being from Demacia, with a high social status compared to Jinx, and also their personalities being completely different.
Since Jinx does not have any very prominent love interest, this ship’s main rival is EzLux, especially since Star Guardians skins brought him up as her potential love interest again after the ship was left completely one-sided on Lux side in the original universe.
