Lightfan is the het ship between Fanny and Lightning from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Lightning invites Fanny to his team because he thinks her hatred towards everything fits with Snowball's murderous attitude. Later during the challenge, Pencil orders Lightning to zap Fanny, who is just about to do so until Bubble stops him. Bubble ends up letting go after pressured by Pencil to do so, causing Lightning to brutally zap Fanny. She shouts in pain while this is happening.
When the twelfth challenge ends, Fanny has a conversation with Fries about how she figured out Lightning was the impostor of their team.
While forming teams for The Power of Two, Lightning and Fanny end up being on the same team again. When Two reveals they've lost the first challenge, Lightning believes that he caused them to lose until Fanny points out nobody was able to hear Two when they explained the extra rule.
Fanny is happy when Lightning announces he and Black Hole found batteries for Remote. He and Fanny work together to put the new battery in Remote. Later in the challenge, the two cheer Black Hole on in sucking up their opponent teams' stacks. Lightning vows revenge on Teardrop when she blasts Fanny away with a laser gun.
Fanny agrees with Lightning when he expresses concern for Are You Okay's plan on building in their factory.
When Lightning accidentally zaps the Funny Plant they have to protect, Fanny says she hates him being in the jungle.
As Two announces that either Fanny or Lightning will be the next one eliminated, Lightning says that he hates being in the bottom two. Fanny thinks he's using her catchphrase until Lightning clarifies his feeling is genuine, stating that Death P.A.C.T.'s goals keep causing them to lose. Lightning is further upset when Two reveals that he's the next one eliminated. As he increasingly becomes rowdy, Fanny tells Two to stop him before something drastic happens. After he releases a multitude of bolts striking various places within Goiky, Fanny herself then approaches Lightning and urges him to calm down. Lightning settles down and apologizes for the havoc he caused, who warns Fanny not to let the team's strategy mess her game up as well. Fanny takes this into consideration and wishes that Lightning could stay. She promises to avenge him right before Two claps him away. During the challenge, Black Hole dismisses the fact their strategy will cost them the challenge once again, stating it's for the greater good. Fanny uses the fact that both Lightning and Remote had gotten out "for the greator good" and is enraged that the remaining team members won't take this into consideration.
While explaining to Black Hole how his obsessive nature over preventing death has consequences, she points out how it ended up getting her friend Lightning out.

Lightfan is a fairly known ship in the Battle for Dream Island. Although most of the traction had been from their time together on Death P.A.C.T. Again, shippers of the two go as far back as their time on team iance. Those who support the pair appreciate how they have stuck together in a team throughout their time in the competition, which Lightning himself points out in the show before he is eliminated. Although it is not shipped as romantically as some other ships involving Fanny or Lightning, there are those who do such as on Twitter and on Fandom wikis. Both have rival ships within their teams in both seasons, such as Snowlight (Snowball x Lightning) and Fubble (Fanny x Bubble) for the fouth season, and Markning (Marker x Lightning) and Fanmarker (Fanny x Marker) for the fifth season. Written works between the two sometimes pair them with either Snowball or Marker depending on when the work takes place.
