Liladrien is the het ship between Lila Rossi and Adrien Agreste from the Miraculous Ladybug fandom.
Canon[]
Adrien and Lila were classmates at Collège François Dupont, with both of them graduating from the middle school at the end of Season 5. Adrien is the deuteragonist of Miraculous Ladybug and the civilian behind the famous superhero Cat Noir. A famous model and voice-actor, son of esteemed fashion designer and businessman Gabriel Agreste, Adrien is charismatic and popular. He has an avid fanbase of devoted supporters and was a love interest for many of the female characters in the show.
Season One[]
Volpina[]
In Volpina, Lila debuts as a new student at Collège François Dupont. Hailing from Italy, Lila dazzles her new classmates with tales of her glamour and star-studded career. Lila's most prominent lie is that she was once saved by Ladybug; she even gives Alya Césaire an exclusive interview on her Ladyblog regarding the event.

At some point unknown to the audience, Lila had met Adrien. Lila and Adrien's first scene together is of her flirting with him by playfully poking and caressing his chest with a finger while he stands stiff and awkward. Lila then takes Adrien by the hand and leads him to the school's library. There, Lila and Adrien sit down at a table, apparently to work on their history homework together. Lila notices that Adrien had the Miraculous Grimoire hidden underneath a textbook and, despite his attempts to devalue the importance of the book, notices that it contains illustrations of Miraculous heroes. Realising that Adrien has an interest in superheroes, Lila attempts to forge a connection between herself and Adrien by placing her hand on top of his and sincerely declaring that she loves superheroes as well.
Unfortunately for Lila, as she continues flipping through the Grimoire and comes across an illustration of Ladybug, she realises that Adrien seems to hold a soft spot for Ladybug. Undeterred, Lila tells Adrien that "A girl doesn't need to wear a costume to be amazing". She then tells Adrien that she is actually very close friends with Ladybug, shocking both Adrien and the actual Ladybug, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who had been eavesdropping on the conversation behind a bookshelf.
Lila promises Adrien that they could talk more about her friendship with Ladybug, but not in school, maintaining clandestineness and the illusion her friendship with the superheroine is real. Marinette, who bears an intense crush on Adrien, is fiercely opposed to this meeting, and even more incensed that Lila would lie about having a close connection with her alter ego. They agree to meet after school, Adrien leaving in a rush because he had a fencing lesson in 58 seconds. Lila startles Adrien, causing him to drop the Miraculous Grimoire. Lila pretends to help him gather up his satchel but she is secretly taking the Grimoire away from him. Marinette notices this. After Adrien leaves for his fencing lesson, Lila flips through the Grimoire by herself and notes with interest that there exists a Vixen Superheroine.
After school, Lila arrives early to the Place des Vosges, their meeting place. She sits on a green bench and opens the orange fox-tail pendant she had bought from a jewellery shop just before. Lila's pendant looks exactly like the Fox Miraculous, intentionally. Marinette, who had followed Lila from Collège François Dupont to Bijouterie and is now watching Lila from behind a tree, is filled with a rising anger. She can't accept that Lila had lied about being Ladybug's friend and she needs to stop Lila before Lila could sink her claws into Adrien.
Lila fastens on her pendant and quickly throws the Miraculous Grimoire into a waste bin when she notices Adrien approaching. She excitedly grasps Adrien by the arm and pulls him down beside her on the bench. They talk about Ladybug and Lila 'confesses' that she is the actually the descendent of a Vixen Superheroine named Volpina. Volpina, in actuality, is the Ancient Chinese Fox Miraculous Holder named Húlí, whom Lila based her fabrication on. Adrien, thinking of Húlí, goes to search for her page in the Grimoire, which he still hasn't realised was missing. Thinking quickly, Lila physically prevents Adrien from opening his satchel, and therefore from realising that the Grimoire is gone, and distracts him by saying: "Of course she's in your book! She's one of the most important superheroes. More powerful and more celebrated than Ladybug. Between you and me Ladybug doesn't even make the top ten!". Lila professes that her fox pendant was handed down to her by her grandmother, insinuating that the fox pendant is a precious family heirloom.
Lila is shamed to tears after Ladybug's caustic harangue. Adrien is looking over her, sympathetically.
The insult and degradation of her alter ego proves to be too much for Marinette. She ceases holding herself back and runs away to transform into Ladybug. While Adrien is flabbergasted by Lila's next lie – that her fox pendant is actually a dormant Miraculous – Ladybug drops down before them. Ladybug mocks Lila by saying that she had watched Lila's exclusive interview on the Ladyblog, where Lila lied about being bosom companions with Ladybug (Ladybug had actually watched the interview as Marinette in the scene before while Lila was shopping in Bijouterie), and praised Lila for doing such a good job in the interview. Ladybug reminisces about the time that she had saved Lila's life, the event which caused them to become "Practically BFFs!" – before backtracking and wondering where she had actually met Lila. Ladybug comes up with a conclusion fast; Lila was lying in an attempt to impress her new classmates.
Adrien is startled by both the revelation and Ladybug's sudden appearance. Two of Lila's major lies – 1) that Ladybug had saved her life, and 2) that she and Ladybug are best friends – had been disproven. Adrien feels uncomfortable and compassionate towards Lila's anguish, but he also seeks the truth. Adrien gingerly approaches and asks Lila "So, I guess you aren't the descendant of a superhero either?", to which Ladybug triumphantly replies: "She's more like a super-liar". Humiliated and furious, Lila retorts "How dare you!" before running out of the park. Adrien attempts to dissuade Lila from leaving, but Lila is gone before he can stop her.
Vexed, Adrien turns to Ladybug and angrily reprimands her for being too severe with Lila before realising that he is Adrien, not Chat Noir; Ladybug's partner and the persona who has the right to be more familiar with her. Adrien re-adopts his milder, civilian personality but continues to criticise Ladybug for being harsher than necessary with Lila. This is a pivotal moment in the Liladrien ship, as Adrien, who is madly in love with Ladybug at this point in the timeline, had become critical of her on behalf of another girl.
Season Three[]
In Chameleon, Lila gets the whole class to switch seats by lying about a hearing problem which results in her sitting next to Adrien. Later, she runs into Adrien in the locker room and asks him to teach her piano. But then Adrien confronts Lila by saying he was upset about the fact that she lied about personally knowing Ladybug. Lila argues by saying Ladybug is the real liar with Adrien responding by encouraging her to be more honest. When Lila becomes akumatized into Chameleon, her first victim was Adrien. She returns back to the locker room and apologizes for getting mad. She then kisses him on the cheek which makes her transform into Adrien with the real Adrien falling into a short sleep. She hides his body in a locker so no one suspects anything. At the end of the episode, right before Marinette is going to expose Lila again, Adrien stops her by saying he knows she's a liar and that they shouldn't expose her because it'll only make her upset.
In Oni-Chan, Lila asks Adrien to help her with homework, which he agrees to, and says they should do it in his house. Adrien knows his father wouldn't agree but Lila manipulates her way in by lying to Nathalie about Adrien's grades decreasing and that she's here to help. Before she leaves, she takes a selfie of her kissing Adrien on the cheek and sends it to all her contacts, including Marinette and Kagami. This results in Kagami being akumatized into Oni-Chan, a villain who promises to protect Adrien and is able to track down Lila and tell whether or not she's lying. The next day at school, Lila again asks for help on homework which Adrien declines as he has fencing class. He tells Lila that they can remain friends if she won't hurt the ones he love since Nathalie and his bodyguard got into a lot of trouble yesterday.
Miraculous New York[]
In the New York Special, Miss Bustier's class get excited about going to New York for French-American Friendship Week. However, Adrien sadly tells his classmates that he can't go because his father wouldn't approve. Lila says she can't as well and tells Adrien that they should hang out over the week. When Marinette hears this, she stands up and announces to the whole class that she will do everything to convince Adrien's father to allow him to go. This makes Lila angry as now she can't spend time with Adrien alone.
Season Four[]

Season Five[]
Lila begins working for Gabriel Agreste, ensuring that Adrien is hanging out with the "right sort of people". This means keeping him away from Marinette and ensuring he upkeeps the Agreste brand. When Adrien asks to quit his modelling career, Gabriel acquiesces his request. However, he creates a 3D scan of Adrien, alongside a 3D scan of Lila. Gabriel uses these models in his new product, the Alliance ring. Lila and Adrien are the faces of Alliance, acting as personal assistants and companions to the ring wearers. By the middle of season 5, Adrien has ended his friendship with Lila off-screen.
In Revelation, Adrien stands by Marinette when she accuses Lila of being a pathological liar. While none of the other students believe her, Adrien insists that he's seen Lila's lies and manipulation for himself. He encourages Marinette to stand up to her, but this only backfires and causes the class to feel pity for Lila. Adrien later apologizes to Marinette for encouraging her to stand against Lila, acknowledging that someone like Lila knows how to manipulate any situation to her own betterment. Lila and Chloé are unanimously voted in as the new class representatives, which implies that Adrien either voted for them, or obtained from the vote entirely.
Fanon[]
This ship is not popular in the Miraculous fandom with many people opposing it. Most people already dislike Lila, so they definitely don't like Adrien being around her. Many people speculate Lila forces or blackmails Adrien into doing things offscreen, which discomforts them and feel pity for Adrien. Despite the large number of people who strongly dislike this ship or prefer to have Lila with characters like Félix and Chloé. Liladrien still has a few loyal supports from those who want Lila to be redeemed, since she isn't very different from his childhood friend, Chloé Bourgeois. Who was close to being redeemed and there was a brief time in season three when Adrien did try to give Lila the benefit of the doubt, in hopes that showing her some kindness would help Lila to bring out an true nicer, honest side to her.
