Liycil is the femslash ship between Liy and Pencil from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
After their respective eliminations in Battle for BFDI, Pencil and Liy are two of the four inhabitants of Eternal Algebra Class with Four (EXIT). While Liy is bored waiting for Four to come back, Pencil reminds her that he often disappears sometimes. Liy states that she was asking a rhetorical question and complains that they've went over the same worksheet fifty times. Pencil explains how they aren't suddenly going to stop doing math when Four returns and goes on a tangent about the exercises Four makes them do. Liy brings this to her awareness as Pencil nearly tips over her chair. After Leafy tries to motivate Pencil into doing her worksheet, Liy is further annoyed when Pencil is still not interested in getting it done. Liy does not want to deal with Four's screeching although Pencil believes she's built up a tolerance to it. After Pencil gets excited from overhearing Bracelety get her free time, Liy reminds Pencil that she still needs to do her work.
Pencil overhears Liy's curiousity about something behind her. Liy explains that despite being in the EXIT for months, they've never looked into what the locked door behind them could lead to. While Stapy teases her, Pencil shares that she hasn't seen Four with a key before, to which Liy agrees with.
Pencil and Liy, along with Match, cheer Loser on when he climbs their stack to reach Four's mouth. Later when Loser is out of items to continue stacking with, Liy orders Pencil and Match to climb up and help Loser up. The two are unwilling to do so until Liy threatens to demote them in their own alliance, which gets them to climb up the tower. As Pencil is on the top of the stack, she is grossed out on witnessing Spongy being transported by Four into the EXIT. Liy gets the idea that she and Match climb through Spongy to escape the EXIT and after further complains from the two, asserts that it's their last chance of escape. Pencil and Match instead bail from Liy's plan to escape and jump off the stack.
After the stack collapses, Pencil sees Liy and Stapy re-entering the classroom. Pencil demands an explanation to which Liy explains her intent to finally open the locked door, even after Four boarded it up. Once she removes the boards, Pencil watches attentively as Liy uses a staple to unlock the door.
While all of the eliminated contestants leave the classroom after an alarm sounds, Liy is shocked to see Four grab Roboty away. Pencil tells her to just leave him, calling him dead weight. Pencil and Liy, along with the other escaped contestants, walk through the hallway outside of the classroom.
As Pencil groups the EXITors together when they decide to split up, she puts Liy in a group with Stapy and Match to explore the waterfall. She stresses to Match that she sticks together with Liy and Stapy when Match is worried about splitting up with Pencil.

Liycil is somewhat of a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom as a whole. It is one of the most popular ships within the EXITors since the pair originated from their time there. Because the two make up some of the more prominent focus of the EXIT, their dynamic is usually compared to girls in school. Fans of lesbian ships often support the pairing, finding their time in class together either cute or funny. The two most notable ships that rival the pairing are Matchcil (Match x Pencil) and Liymote (Liy x Remote). The pairing is also part of a larger poly ship of the four original EXITors, known as Poly Exit (Pencil x Leafy x Bracelety x Liy).
There are five works for their romantic tag and three for their platonic tag on AO3. It is the most written ship for Liy and the fourth most for Pencil on the site.
