Lloydten is the slash ship between Lloyd and Ninten from the EarthBound fandom.

On the rooftop of Twinkle Elementary in Thanksgiving, Ninten meets Lloyd, who is hiding in a trash can to avoid his bullies. To prove that Ninten isn't going to hurt him, Lloyd asks him to bring him a bottle rocket from Little Sweet's factory. Ninten agrees, and after he returns with one, Lloyd is satisfied that Ninten isn't mean and decides to join him on his adventure. Lloyd tells Ninten about a big rocket at Duncan's factory, and that he wants to go see it. Ninten and Lloyd traverse their way through the factory and find the rocket. Lloyd accidentally messes with something on it, causing it to blast off. This breaks the rocks blocking the train tracks, though, which lets them access the Santa Claus Station.

Lloydten is a smaller pairing due to MOTHER being the least popular game in the trilogy, as with other pairings from that game. Some find it odd that Lloyd would just decide to join Ninten on his adventure, due to having no clear reason to do so, unlike Ana and Teddy. Some figure that it's because Lloyd wants to escape from his bullies, and wants to spend time with a real friend like Ninten, something which he had never really had before. It is thought that Ninten really changed Lloyd's life a lot for the better. Some fans think that since Ninten gets a lot of money from his dad, he would spoil Lloyd. For example, canonically, he buys Lloyd his cool gadgets and explosives that only Lloyd is able to operate. Some see the ship as a one-sided crush on Lloyd's side due to Ninten being able to have feelings for Ana.
Lloydten is also fueled by the fact that Lloyd is the only character besides Ninten required to join the party in order to complete the game. The rocks blocking the train tracks must be cleared to advance and Lloyd is the only one who can activate the rocket to do so. This also means that at the Live House, it is possible for Ninten and Lloyd to do a performance together, just the two of them. Lloyd is also essential to fix the boat on Mt. Itoi and access EVE, who contains the seventh melody. Thus meaning that Ninten and Lloyd can have an adventure all to themselves.
According to the MOTHER Encyclopedia, Lloyd is a lover of all things science, while Ninten hates his science class. Lloyd could help Ninten to appreciate some aspects of science and possibly help his grades. Additionally, Ninten appears to be much more energetic and friendly than Lloyd, so Ninten could potentially pass off that positivity to Lloyd. The two also contrast each other in that Ninten is able to use PSI, while Lloyd is not. Lloydten is Lloyd's most popular ship, but it rivals Clausten and Nintenana.
