Loid and Bond first met when the Forgers reunited after the problems with Keith’s terrorist group and the bomb dogs. He saw Bond riding Anya and she told Loid the doggy saved him, so he nicely pats his head and thanks him for saving his daughter, making the canine feel happy. When the doggy finally arrived to the Forger residence, Loid with Anya and Yor recieved Bond with a smile telling him that know it’s his home. Bond at the beginning felt a little scared due his terrible past, but later was motivated by Anya telling him that he has nothing to worry.
Next day, Anya asks her parents what should they pick for the dog’s name, since Bond didn’t have a name as he was called as his project name, so Loid tells her she should pick easy syllables and words that are understandable for a dog to hear. Later he gives the idea to go out to the dog’s park to check a name by his personality, so the Forgers start heading to the park and Loid is the one who’s walking Bond. Anya asks if she can walk him but Loid declines since the doggy would end up walking her. Loid starts telling her the importance of taking care of a living being, telling her that it’s her duty to clean, play, wash and give food to her new pet since it’s her duty to take care of it for the rest of it’s life. Later in the park Loid sees from far how Anya and Bond are having fun, recalling the words he told Anya about taking care of a living being, knowing that he won’t be able to live that long with the Forgers. At the end Anya officially names him “Bond”, and Loid agrees with the name.
In chapter 40, Loid goes to a mission, so Bond stays in home with Yor. He isn’t able to see his future and then Yor says she’ll cook him dinner since there isn’t any dog’s food left so he realizes that he’ll die if he eats Yor’s food. Bond starts thrashing around the house but comes up with an idea: if Loid comes home early, he can make Bond’s dinner and, in turn, prevent his death. With this resolve, the family dog unlocks the door and runs away, bewildering Yor. Bond escapes from the house and runs around the streets sniffing for Loid’s scent. He eventually tracks down Loid, who is outside the Born Industries facility. Loid first wonders how Bond knows about it and recalls that the industry was presumably involved with Project Apple. Assuming Bond knows this and wants payback against the scientists who abused him and his friends as test subjects, Loid lets him tag along to complete their missions. While Loid works, Bond has another vision where the staff return to the lab causing Loid to hold them off and orders Bond to run home. Bond becomes distressed and warns Loid to hide. Before hiding, he leaves a note saying the Gerrulimus has been stolen for the staff to see, leading them to open and check the locker with the serum. Loid and a masked Bond jump down on the men and knock them out. Loid thanks Bond as he retrieves the sample and says he can go home early. As a result, Bond has a vision of Loid making his dinner and Yor happy for his safety, and he barks for joy.
In chapter 58 Loid is seen training Bond for immobilize targets without fatally wounding them. At the beginning it was going great but later Bond starts getting bad visions so he tries to prevent them, but everytime he acted, someone ends up angry, worrying Loid, and he angrilly scolds Bond for biting strangers and is confused at Bond's actions despite his lack of disciplinary problems. Bond has another vision but chooses to ignore it after imagining an angry Loid sending him back to the pound. Suddenly he sees a vision where there’s a woman crying out for a name and a building on fire, so Bond tries to leave but Loid holds him, making Bond loudly barks at him scaring Loid a little. At the end Loid follows Loid and arrive at the apartment. Bond gnaws off his leash and runs into the building, making Loid having no other choice but to follow him. In the building, Loid calls out for Bond, looking for him. He sees a burning piece of debris about to fall onto Bond and quickly kicks it away, and he sees Bond picking up a small pug that was left behind, making Loid smile. They try to leave the building, but Bond gets a vision and nudges Loid, trying to stop him. Suddenly, the floor in front of them collapses and Loid thinks that it was thanks to his incredible smelling.
They were able to leave the building and give the little puppy to their owner. Loid sees Bond to thank him but notices he’s on fire, so he quickly grabs a bucket of water and douse him. With his fur wet, Bond's body is revealed to be skinny, and Loid has to stifle his laughter. Later Bond detects the guilty’s scent and went to him to bite his leg. Loid notices the guilty tries to stab Bond, so he quickly inmobilizes him. He pats Bond and praises him for his actions. Bond thinks Loid will scold him for biting the man's legs instead of the arms like he was taught, but Loid reminds him to be careful as his family will worry about him and apologizes for trying to train Bond so hard. Bond happily nuzzles up against Loid, which embarrasses him. As they return home, Loid plans for them to go to the dog park the next day and wonders why Bond's bark changes when he is wet.

Loid and Bond beloved by many fans the fandom, and alongside Anya and Yor, they complete the Forger Family. Within the family, it’s more popular Anya & Bond’s relationship since both of them are aware of Loid and Yor’s secret, but Loid and Bond have their decent amount of fans since Loid is the one who normally walks him, and since Loid is aware that Bond the only one in the family who knows that he is a spy (as far as he knows), he trust him with some missions and even knows he’s very capable of taking care of Anya.
