Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
After Eggy misinterprets Teardrop's arm waving as disinterest, Lollipop approaches Eggy about her encounter. Lollipop shares a similar time where she tried to sell Teardrop some of her fork repellents. Although Teardrop expresses interest by waving her arms, her inability to talk confuses Lollipop and she is later convinced by Pillow that Teardrop's arm fluttering is her way of saying she doesn't care. As Pillow and Eggy discuss about the matter, Lollipop is shocked that Teardrop's standards are that high and is unsure of how she would ever get her attention. Later as teams are being formed for the season, the two end up becoming teammates of team BLEH.
Battle for BFB[]
The two become teammates once again for the Have Cots. During the second challenge of the season's new phase, Teardrop pulls down on the rubber bridge while Woody and Lollipop are on it, flinging the two away after letting go. Though, Lollipop does not care about being flung away.
While the Have Cots are on the sun to cool it down, Lollipop tells the team that Teardrop should be the one to pour their bucket of ice on the sun. Teardrop shakes her head against the idea as Lollipop responds that she won't have to do it if she simply says no. Since Teardrop cannot speak and is unable to do so, Lollipop puts the task on her right as she herself is about to leave. Leafy stops Lollipop from leaving and gathers the team around as Teardrop indeed pours the ice onto the sun.
When the team is tasked with getting Four out of a jail cell, Teardrop starts typing on a typewriter and Lollipop assumes that she is working on a fantasy comic instead of focusing on the challenge. However, when Teardrop hands Lollipop the finished paper, the latter is surprised to see she has typed out a list of tools used for breaking prison bars. Lollipop lists them out and compliments Teardrop for the useful list, leading the team to retrieve the tools at Yellow Face's warehouse. Later after they make it there, the team ends up getting eaten by Purple Face. With the team hiding inside their respective balled up sweaters, Teardrop comes up with a plan to see who screams the loudest between them. She grabs a pair of shears and pokes Lollipop's sweater with them, making Lollipop scream until Teardrop eventually stops pointing them at her before testing it out with the other members.
During the totem challenge, Gelatin and Lollipop, teamed up as part of their newbie alliance, splits off from the rest of the contestants. Gelatin gets the idea to add Teardrop to their alliance which Lollipop supports the idea of, appreciating Teardrop for being a quiet individual. After Gelatin finds a totem for himself, Lollipop and Teardrop are left together for the challenge. Lollipop describes Teardrop as a "go with the flow" person and makes a joke about using osmosis to absorb her into their alliance, making Teardrop facepalm shortly before she accepts the offer. The two run across a shrine containing two totems, where the two conclude given the shrine's yin-yang symbol that one of the totems is blessed and the other is cursed. Teardrop tries to figure out which of the totems is blessed as Lollipop objects the idea, thinking that figuring out who should get the blessed totem and who gets the cursed totem may split their alliance apart. This gives Teardrop the idea to put a blindfold on them both which Lollipop likes the idea of. After the two grab their totems, they tumble down the temple's front stairs and turn in their totems to Four. He quickly evaluates them and reveals that Teardrop got the blessed totem and Lollipop got the cursed one. Lollipop accepts her loss and calls it fate's decision.
While the contestants try to take Profily to the BRB, Lollipop ends up hanging on to the side of the BRB where she sees Teardrop walking up. She asks Teardrop if she could hand Profily to her and calls it fair when Teardrop doesn't want to. Lollipop then encourages Teardrop to continue walking up, prompting Flower to try and tackle them both to prevent either from getting the win. Later as X causes Profily to start hovering upwards, Flower and Teardrop are hanging on by Profily's legs and Lollipop grabs on as well, backing up Teardrop as she tells Flower to give up the immunity for the newbie alliance. Flower calls for help and gets assistance from a flying carrot cake who knocks Teardrop and Lollipop off of Flower's legs for her.
In the next elimination, Lollipop ends up being revealed to be the next one off the show with the least votes. Before she goes, she gives words of encouragement to Gelatin and Teardrop as part of their newbie alliance and shares a group hug with them.
In the season finale as a group of contestants are trying to catch up to Four, Gelatin and Lollipop encourage Teardrop to run up the BRB when they spot Four on top of it. The two grab onto Teardrop's arm as she runs up to the top of the building. Later on after Gelatin shares a comic reflecting his experience with the season, Ruby comments about how Teardrop has been missing for a day and Lollipop assures her that they'll see her again sooner than they think.
Fanon[]
Lollidrop is fairly rare as a ship overall in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The pairing mainly gained attention within the run of post split BFB, where the two grew closer as a part of them being in the newbie alliance. Despite their mixed dynamic at first, fans seeing how Lollipop quickly grew a liking towards Teardrop within their alliance got them to see the two in a more positive light. The pairing is also usually backed up by lesbian ship enjoyers of the fandom, with the ship still resonating even after the season's end. The ship is also sometimes put together with Gelatin as a poly ship, the Newbie Alliance, since the three are the main members of said alliance.
On AO3, as of May 22, 2025, the ship has 8 works under its platonic tag.
