Space Jam[]

Lola was introduced as a sexy female bunny rabbit on The Tune Squad. Bugs Bunny was immediately head over heels for her, gawking at her beauty. Bugs was tongue-tied talking to her and made a fool of himself. Lola humored him and flirted back. Bugs made the mistake of calling her "Doll" which got Lola angry.

On the court, Lola completely kick Bugs' butt and beat him at their little one-on-one basketball game. Before she left, she told Bugs never to call her doll. Bugs was just left in the dust, still completely smitten with her majestic nature. During the big game, Bugs and Lola would prove that they're not just lovers but they're also teammates, as they worked together nicely on the court. Bugs told Lola that she had a nice shot and high-fived her.

He also warned her that she was about to be tackled by Orange Thing and pushed her out of the way to save her. Lola comforted Bugs after he got hurt and then she kissed him, making him go ga ga for her once again. At the end of the movie, Bugs and Lola helped The Tune Squad to defeat The Monstars on court and save the world. Bugs celebrated by kissing Lola, making her cheer with romantic joy.

The Looney Tunes Show[]

This section is in need of major improvement. Please help improve this article by editing it.

Lola debuted in the episode "Members Only", where they fell in love at first sight and began dating. Bugs, however, would grow annoyed with Lola for how chatty and ditzy she was throughout their date. Bugs considered it to be the worst date of his life, while Lola thought it was the best of hers. Lola would harass Bugs the next day, sending him literally thousands of emails. Bugs tries calling Lola to dump her but she starts crying uncontrollably and Bugs is guilt-tripped into immediately taking her back.

Lola asks him out on another date, which Bugs feels obligated to agree to. Bugs wanted to dump Lola but was worried about hurting her feelings, so he went to the Country Club and disguised himself as a woman to tell Lola to break up with Bugs. Bugs told Lola that Bugs was a "bad boy" who was just going to cheat on her but Lola refused to believe this, calling Bugs Bunny a "saint". After this fails, Bugs goes on a third date with Lola, where she introduces him to her parents for a nice dinner at the country club. During their date, Bugs drops a mint and when he kneels down to pick it up, Lola thinks he's proposing to her and accepts his marriage proposal.

Lola gets Pepe le Pew as the wedding planner and Bugs has no idea how to get out of this one. At the wedding, Bugs and Lola are about to be pronounced man and wife and when Pepe asks if anyone objects to the marriage, Bugs hopes Daffy will object but he doesn't say anything because he's too distracted, stuffing his face at the food table. However, Lola surprisingly ends up objecting, saying that she's in love with Pepe le Pew now. She asks Bugs if he's heartbroken about her dumping him and Bugs just tells her that he'll be able to move on just as long as she doesn't talk to him for a long, long time. Crisis averted. Now Bugs never has to see her again ... for another 8 episodes.

Fanon[]

Although Lola was a relatively new character in the franchise, only debuting in the 1996 movie, Space Jam, she took off in popularity fairly quickly as she played the long-unfulfilled role of a female counterpart to Bugs Bunny and her relationship with Bugs was one of the few upsides to the movie. Lola and Bugs' relationship became even more popular when the 2011 TV series, "The Looney Tunes Show" premiered, wherein Lola was given a lot more character and personality and started to have chemistry with Bugs besides just kid-sanctioned sexual tension. Lola was portrayed as an overly-talkative but super sweet-hearted dumb blonde type and she served excellent contrast to Bugs Bunny's straight man personality. People wanted to see more of Lola and her relationship with Bugs and were delighted to see her serve as such a major recurring character. This gave tons of much-needed fuel to the Lolugs shipping community and spawned tons more artwork, fanfictions, and tribute videos to the couple.
