Lucaesar is the femslash ship between Luciana Auxesis Theodoro de Montefio and Caesar King from the Zenless Zone Zero fandom.
Canon[]
Caesar King is the leader of the faction, Sons of Calydon, and Luciana Auxesis Theodoro de Montefio - simply known as Lucy - is one of the members. Despite being the leader, Caesar is often scolded by Lucy for her easy-going nature. Overall, the two appear to be strong rivals and bicker frequently, mostly on Lucy's part as she seems to have only insults about Caesar. However, the two are shown to actually care for each other deeply, especially Lucy who is extremely distraught over Caesar's supposed death.
First Encounter[]
The two ladies first meet in the Outer Ring as Lucy is seen sitting at the piano, an object most often considered a piece of junk in the area, and Caesar offers to drive her home believing that the city girl had been disillusioned by what she saw there. After Caesar listens to Lucy play a melody, she finds herself intrigued and asks the city girl if it was difficult to play. In the next scene, Caesar and Lucy are dressed in different clothing indicating that time had passed and are revealed to be playing the piano together.
Lucy mentions that when she first ran away to the Outer Ring she arranged her own kidnapping, but the kidnapping was interrupted by Caesar and the Sons of Calydon who defeated the kidnappers and rescued Lucy.
Tour de Inferno[]
Over the course of Tour de Inferno, Caesar and Lucy find themselves bickering with one another which often leads to Lucy challenging Caesar to a duel. The Proxy is worried about them at first until Piper clears up that this is something that they do multiple times a day. When she believes that Kasa is conspiring with criminals, Lucy chooses not to involve Caesar as she is worried Caesar would be hurt due to her close relationship with Kasa, although she does not admit it.
As The Tour de Inferno event begins, the Sons of Calydon find their route has been sabotaged by someone. At Cinder Lake, the end of the race, Caesar makes the attempt to protect the lake by riding to what little remains of the lake to use the Sparkstone. Lucy begs Caesar to stop because doing this would sacrifice herself in the process and Caesar knows it, her and Lighter attempting to run after Caesar, with Lighter eventually having to hold Lucy back to stop her from going after Caesar. Caesar tells Lucy not to look so sad because she would start to feel afraid even though she had resolved to do this. Caesar appears to die when riding into the lake, causing despair in Lucy who starts to bawl, however shortly after Caesar reappears, having survived, and is slapped by Lucy.

- In Caesar's Character Demo, as she enters the shower, Lucy scolds her for entering while wearing shoes and that she should wait until everyone else has showered. Caesar then asks Lucy to lend her shampoo again and while Lucy brags about it, Caesar snatches it from Lucy's hands and starts laughing, which leads to Lucy start chasing after her.

Lucaesar is both Caesar and Lucy's most popular ship, as well as one of the most popular femslash ships in the Zenless Zone Zero fandom. Lucaesar gained significant popularity after the release of the main story Chapter 4, "Tour de Inferno". Many fans interpret Lucy being in love with Caesar but being too tsundere to admit it.
Currently, Lucaesar have 32 works on AO3 and are the 10th most written femslash ship under the Zenless Zone Zero tag.
