Lukesoka is the friendship between Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano from the Star Wars fandom.
Canon[]
Ahsoka is the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Luke's father. She served under Anakin during the Clone Wars, before leaving the Jedi Order a few months prior to Order 66. Many years later, Ahsoka is an important part of the Rebel Alliance, serving as "Fulcrum" to provide secret information to the cause. Luke himself joins the Rebellion a few years after Ahsoka, although their paths would not cross until the fall of the Galactic Empire.
Book of Boba Fett[]
Ahsoka join Luke as he watches Grogu and asks how training is going. Luke says it's going well and Ahsoka says he taught him well. Luke says it's more like Grogu is remembering what he learned and Ahsoka says that sometimes the student will guide the master. Luke tells her that Din Djarin was there, and Ahsoka says that he and Grogu share a strong bond. She then shows Luke the gift Din brought Grogu, which Luke takes. He wonders if Grogu's heart is really in his training and Ahsoka comments that Luke is so much like Anakin. He asks what he should do about Grogu and Ahsoka suggest that he follow his instincts. She starts to leave and Luke asks if he'll see her again. She says he might and tells him goodbye before walking off.
Fanon[]
The possible relationship between Luke and Ahsoka was speculated for many years by Star Wars fans. It was unknown for awhile if Ahsoka would ever meet Luke, let alone if she would ever live long enough to reach that point in the timeline. It was often speculated that the two would bond over their relationships with Anakin. They were both able to see the good in him even after he went to the darkside.
AUs where Anakin never turned to the dark side and instead left the Jedi Order to raise his kids often include Ahsoka. This was often in an aunt or big sister role to Luke and Leia. She was often shown to visit them when she didn't have to attend to her duties as a Jedi. This would sometimes also lead to her being the master to one or both of them if they end up at the Jedi temple.
Fans were ecstatic to see the two characters finally meet in Book of Boba Fett, although some were disappointed that we were not seeing the very first meeting between the two characters. Still, many were glad to finally have confirmation that Luke and Ahsoka knew each other, and had discussed Anakin together.
On AO3, Lukesoka is the tenth most written ship for Ahsoka. It is also her seventh most written gen ships. There are currently 280+ works on AO3.
