Lukesse is the non-binary ship between Lukas and Jesse from the Minecraft: Story Mode fandom.

Jesse starts the game's story disliking Lukas because of a pre-existing rivalry between their groups, Jesse's friends dislike the Ocelots and Lukas just happens to be their leader. However, Lukas does not return Jesse's animosity and seems to be oblivious to it, hoping for a fair building competition and flat out telling Jesse that "if you're cool with Petra, you're cool with us". Whilst trying to save their pet pig Reuben when it ran off due to Aiden, one of the Ocelots, Jesse runs into Petra and they start talking about Lukas as Jesse doesn't understand why Petra is friends with him. Petra however defends Lukas and urges Jesse to give him a chance. When meeting Lukas again during EnderCon, Jesse can choose to chat with Lukas, he will start the conversation by sincerely congratulating them for winning the building competition. Regardless of how Jesse chooses to respond, they will ask Lukas about a "creepy longed-haired guy" roaming around, Petra's client Ivor who had scammed her earlier. Lukas is sympathetic and tells Jesse that nobody messes with Petra, asking them if the two of them are cool with each other now, Jesse's responses all have a tint of sarcasm indicitating that they are not ready to trust Lukas yet. When Jesse and friends spot Ivor sneaking inside, they are stopped by the usher telling them that they need tickets. Luckily, they catch on to the usher being afraid of chickens and hatch a plan to unleash chickens using a slime block, but they ran out and Lukas just happens to play catch with a slimeball. When Jesse reluctantly asks Lukas if they could have his slimeball, Lukas is interested in their scheme and joins their group for now. However, when they do find Ivor, he spawns an Iron Golem and sics it onto them, the group is forced to split and lose sight of Lukas when they flee upstairs. When they see the famed Gabriel the Warrior do a Q&A on stage, Jesse is forced to make a choice between either warning Gabriel about Ivor's plan or going back to the basement and saving Lukas. Regardless of what they choose to do, Ivor will put his plan to motion and Lukas will turn out fine, the choice only matters in changing the way Lukas reacts to Jesse running into him while fleeing from the Wither Storm Ivor had summoned earlier. However, when both Gabriel and Petra end up in the Wither Storm's tractor beams, Jesse calls out for Lukas to help save both of them, but Lukas panicks and Jesse has to resort to only saving one of them. Later when they reunite with Axel and Olivia and escape into the Nether, they blame Lukas for losing one of their allies, Jesse can choose to defend Lukas by telling them that even Jesse themself struggled with saving just one. When they manage to leave the Nether and set up camp in a dark forest, tensions rise between Axel and Lukas again and Jesse can choose to support either one in their argument resulting in Lukas either leaving the group or staying for now. Regardless, Lukas proves his usefulness either by helping the group progress to the temple of the Order of the Stone or bringing apples to make up for his mistakes. In the latter option, he pledges to stay with them to the end, regardless if Jesse welcomes him in the group or not and they go to the temple together. When they use Gabriel's amulet to locate Magnus and Ellegaard, two other members of the Order, Jesse is forced to decide whether to go with Axel to find Magnus or with Olivia to find Ellegaard. Regardless of who they choose to go with, the other will go with Lukas to get the member of the Order Jesse did not pick.

Fanon

Lukesse/Jesskas is the main ship of the Minecraft: Story Mode fandom. Fans tend to see chemistry between them regardless of Jesse's gender and Lukas being a fan-favorite means that many players feel compelled to be as nice to Lukas as they can.

Like most Jesse ships, the "Jess-" prefix in the ship name is used to indicate preference for male Jesse pairings, while the "-esse" suffix is used to indicate female Jesse pairings, so "Lukesse" is het and "Jesskas" is slash.

It's common to hear people express their preference for the male Jesse in this ship, especially on TikTok.
