- Hehe, I just never knew Luocha was so awesome~
- —Sushang about Luocha in "Keeping up with Star Rail"
Luoshang is the het ship between Luocha and Li Sushang from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Luocha and Sushang are first seen together when Dan Heng stumbles upon them while they are being attacked by the Mara-Struck Soldiers and joins in to help. Sushang tells Luocha to stand still and let the pros handle this. Luocha joins the fight, using his healing abilities and saying that he can't stand by while they risk their lives for him. After the battle, Sushang asks if the two are okay and introduces herself as a Cloud Knight who transferred from Yaoqing. She scolds Luocha, saying that she has no eyes in the back of her head and could have hurt him, to which Luocha teases her that she was too busy trying to hurt herself. Unfazed, Sushang replies that it is the Cloud Knights' job to protect others, and informs them that the area is off-limits and that they should follow her. Luocha asks what exactly happened on Xianzhou, to which Sushang admits that she doesn't know and was simply ordered to help the civilians. When Sushang asks Dan Heng's name, Luocha asks if she wants to know his name, to which Sushang replies that he already said it while he was fighting: "Luo... something... Luocha!". Luocha and Dan Heng follow Sushang, and along the way, she tells them that they should write down their names, as she might misheard them.
Later, the three reach a dead end. Luocha says that someone used the Cloudford control panel and the containers are blocking the passage. Sushang sighs in annoyance, saying that she doesn't understand anything about mechanics and asks why Luocha understands this. He replies that he is a traveling merchant and has been here many times, but Sushang, for a Cloud Knight, knows criminally little about the local routes. Sushang justifies herself by saying that she was recently transferred here from Yaoqing and rarely comes here. When Luocha finds the control panel, Sushang praises him for his keen eye and invites the two aboard to the Central Starskiff Haven.
Having made a stop at the Artisanship Commission, Luocha and Sushang discuss the topics of the Propagation and mortality of the Aeons. Sushang does not understand why the Aeons fight among themselves, to which Luocha asks if she is really from Xianzhou, since the destruction of Yaoshi is the main goal of the Alliance led by Lan. Sushang says that she does not know much, since her mother made her practice with swords every day and she did not really go to school. Luocha suggests that in this case they change the topic and Sushang asks what is in his "box". Luocha explains that it is called a coffin and it is intended for transporting the remains of the dead, he was asked to deliver it to Xianzhou. Sushang tells him about the ritual traditions of long-lived peoples, and then asks if he knows who is in the coffin. Having received an affirmative answer, she wonders: is it his friend or his lover? Luocha chuckles and replies that he has only seen this person once in his life and suggests that they continue on their way. Along the way, they come across Xueyi being attacked by Mara-Struck soldiers. Sushang says that they should all attack together and Luocha teases her again, saying that she said she could handle it herself before. After the battle, the three discover that Xueyi's mechanical body has a broken motor and, as a Cloud Knight, Sushang is required to escort her to the Realm-Keeping Commission. Sushang apologizes to Luocha and Dan Heng for causing them to be delayed again and Luocha offers to help Xueyi with her medical care. Although Xueyi can now move, she is still injured and they need to escort her to the Starskiff Jetty. They soon encounter Master Gongshu and when he refuses to come with them, Sushang threatens to have Luocha put him in his white box. After seeing Master Gongshu and Xueyi off, the three head to the Alchemy Commission.
When they reach their destination, Luocha thanks Sushang in a peculiar way for the eventful adventure. She says that soon he and Dan Heng should be found by escorts from the Cloud Knights and bids farewell to the guys.

Fanon[]
Luoshang is primarily popular in the Eastern fandom, particularly due to the Honkai Impact 3rd visual novel "Saga of the Shattered Swords", in which Otto, the prototype for Luocha, became Sushang's first friend and she showed affection towards him, which many interpreted as a crush on her part. Those unfamiliar with Honkai Impact 3rd began shipping them due to their interactions in the main story, with Luocha good-naturedly teasing Sushang while she dragged him and Dan Heng into various adventures in an attempt to lead them to safety.
In the Western fandom, Luoshang is mostly shipped platonically, as friends or father and daughter, while their romantic variation receives backlash due to a translation error stating that Sushang is 15 years old, while the original Chinese text states that Sushang is in her prime. This was later corrected to Sushang being of courtship age, but the backlash against Luoshang continues. It is also widely believed that Sushang is a lesbian, as she supposedly lost interest in Otto after learning he was a man, or even hated him, so shipping her with a man would be considered an erasure of her identity. However, this is not true and is simply a misinterpretation of their relationship, made possible by the visual novel only being available in Chinese.

Trivia[]
- Luocha is based on Otto Apocalypse during the events of the visual novel "Saga of the Shattered Swords", the same one where he met and befriended Sushang in Honkai Impact 3rd.
- Based on the Xianzhou Script and the way each syllable is represented by a letter in the game, fans translated the comments in the chat of Guinaifen's stream in the "A Foxian Tale of the Haunted" event and found a person with the initials LC who wrote, "Little Sushang/Shangshang was so scared that she cried when she saw this." This person is presumed to be Luocha.[1]
