Luzi is the femslash ship between Uzi Doorman and Lizzy from the Murder Drones fandom.

Canon[]

Pilot[]

After Uzi’s deadly railgun explosion in her failed presentation to her class to convince the Workers to defeat the Disassembly Drones, Lizzy, alongside her close friend, Doll, degrades her by complaining and expressing her disappointment that the self-destruction didn’t kill her off. She giggles before running out of sight with Doll. When the Disassembly Drones, J and V, invade the colony, she is one of the many cowering Workers struggling to find safety. Uzi and N arrive on scene and a battle ensues, leaving a handicapped V and a vaporized J’s corpse. Lizzy silently observes Uzi chew out her father for abandoning her in the hands of N, who at the moment was plotting to kill her.

Episode 2 “Heartbeat”[]

During the parent-teacher conference, Uzi’s teacher informs Khan of his daughter’s unusual and rebellious behavior, which then leads to gratuitous actions. In one of the flashbacks, the teacher tiredly orders Uzi to participate in the group project, for she decided to perform the classwork independently. Uzi retaliates by explaining that many students wanted to be her partner to cover that she had no choice but to perform by herself. This is proven by Lizzy stating the truth as she explains that no one looked forward to being grouped with her since she freaks them out. This leads to Uzi placing herself in the nearest garbage bin in embarrassment.

Episode 3 “The Promening”[]

Khan hires Lizzy and Doll to help prepare his daughter for the prom, much to Uzi’s horror. When arriving in Doll’s residence, Lizzy grimaces at its state. Uzi attempts to leave, but the door abruptly shuts behind her. Lizzy cheekily explains that Uzi will appear cute in a brave way once she is fully prepared for the prom, which is responded to by an eye roll from the latter before she attempts to escape again. This time, Doll teleports abruptly behind her, scaring the young Worker.

This is when Uzi realizes that there is no point in leaving and obediently proceeds to prepare herself in the restroom. During this, she overhears Lizzy’s conversation with Doll and discovers that they invited Disassembly Drone, V, to attend; they also need to kill her first before they progress. Realizing that V would not be arriving for a simple dance, Uzi escapes using an array of discarded mirrors in Doll’s bathtub and crawls through a ventilation shaft with the intention of escaping death and preventing V from arriving.

Episode 4 “Cabin Fever”[]

Uzi’s deadly transformation takes place, and she unleashes her hunger onto her peers within Camp 98.7, Lizzy is seen conversing with fellow peers near a campfire before she is caught of guard by her friend, Rebecca, desperately crawling towards them with the lower half of her body dismembered. Describing her attacker, Uzi, by appearance, nobody appears to recognize her, including Lizzy. When the solver-possessed Uzi arrives on scene, they still fail to recognize her. It was only then when she landed a fatal blow on Braidon by decapitating him the campers decided to flee. After murdering Sam, his agonizing screams can be heard in the distance as it cuts to Lizzy sprinting into the woods in fear. She stumbles upon Emily, who appears to be in a daze as she stiffly waves at the latter.

The unconscious female drone is then torn apart by Uzi, who was using her as a puppet to lure in Lizzy. Lizzy, who had not decided to run away, is held midair in a chokehold without Uzi physically touching her. Before she could be murdered, V blocks Uzi’s attack and sends her soaring to a safer distance, which releases Lizzy from her clutches. During V and Uzi’s battle (with Uzi having the upper hand with her newfound abilities) Lizzy silently observes them. However, she is blasted away by a deflected missile projected by V, although she survives.

After N and Uzi’s heart-to-heart conversation, Lizzy disgustingly says “ew” when witnessing their close friendship.

Fanon[]

Luzi is a rarepair within the Murder Drones fandom but surprisingly unignored. The pairing is interesting due to Lizzy’s role as a bully and Uzi being one of her many easy victims. Although many fans perceive the ship as toxic, it is argued that their relationship is merely teasing since Lizzy had performed nothing truly harmful to Uzi other than making minor comments. However, this does contrast the fact that Lizzy told Doll to kill Uzi during The Promening.
