Lyn is a character from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Character[]
Lyn is young swordswoman who lives on the plains of Caelin as a member of the Lorca tribe. When most of her tribe is killed by bandits, she sets off to avenge them. While initially not taken seriously by her people due to her gender, Lyn gains allies to join her quest for justice, and later joins Eliwood and Hector on their own journey.
In the Super Smash Bros. series, Lyn appears as an Assist Trophy, a character that can be summoned to temporarily aid the fighter that releases them.

Lyn has a special place in the heart of many Fire Emblem fans as she is the first protagonist of the first game available to players outside of Japan. As such, she quickly became one of the most important popular characters in the franchise to the point where many fans speculate what role she will play in a potential Binding Blade remake. In the first ever Fire Emblem Heroes Choose Your Legends popularity poll, Lyn placed first with 49,917 votes.
