LyraBon is the femslash ship between Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops from the My Little Pony fandom.

TV Show[]
Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops are initially introduced separately as background characters, evolving into minor characters later on. They first appeared together in the episode Swarm of the Century, where they’re standing at a table eating cake together before a parasprite flies by, which they watch in fascination before the parasprite proceeds to eat their cakes and fly away, making Lyra cry. They're next seen with each other in Fall Weather Friends, where they’re watching the Iron Pony competition together.
After their two prominent appearances together in Season One, they’re seen together numerous times in Season Two. In the episode Lesson Zero, both of them fall under a spell that Twilight Sparkle put on a doll named Smarty Pants which makes them infatuated with it, and they proceed to get in a tussle for it. After this, they’re seen together again in the episodes Secret of my Excess, where they get surprised by Derpy popping out of a nearby well, Hearts and Hooves Day, and A Friend in Deed. In one more Season Two episode, Lyra is seen slumping onto a table alone, and then is later shown drinking with and talking to Sweetie Drops.
They’re only seen together once in Season Three, standing next to each other in the episode Magic Duel, and aren’t seen with each other again until Season Five, in the episode Slice of Life, where they’re helping to decorate the town hall for a wedding. Here, they’re established to be very close friends who usually get along well, until Lyra finds out that she knew Sweetie Drops under a false name, Bon Bon, the whole time, and she’d been keeping her alternate identity as a Canterlot special agent a secret from her. Lyra feels betrayed by this, and Sweetie Drops spends the episode trying to reconcile with her. Later on, they successfully reconcile just in time for the wedding, and Lyra reveals her own secret, that she once ate imported oats that Sweetie Drops had been saving for a special occasion.
After Slice of Life, the two are delegated to background or minor characters again. In Party Pooped, they’re seen playing ball together, and in Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?, they appear in the shared dream of all of the citizens of Ponyville, where they find themselves physically attached by the hip. They’re overjoyed by this, and hug each other. They’re seen with each other in five more Season Five episodes after this.
In the Season Six episode On Your Marks, they’re seen sitting with each other watching a performance, and are then seen in the Season Seven episode Triple Threat having an argument with each other that Spike has to resolve. They’re seen together again three times in Season Eight, in the audience at a comedy club in The Maud Couple, giving each other gifts on Hearts and Hooves Day, the equivalent of Valentine’s Day, in The Break Up Break Down, and at a café in The End in Friend.
They have a significant amount of appearances together in Season Nine, including minor ones in the audience of a buckball game in The Beginning of the End - Part 2 and 2, 4, 6, Greaaat, in the audience of a trivia contest in A Trivial Pursuit, and attending the Summer Sun Ceremony in The Summer Sun Setback. Then, in Dragon Dropped, they’re seen sharing a milkshake together at a cafe, attending a concert in A Horse Shoe-In, and riding a Ferris wheel together in Growing Up is Hard to Do.
They’re officially confirmed to be a couple in The Big Mac Question, where they both propose to each other. Then, in the final episode, The Last Problem, it’s shown in the newspaper that they got married, and they’re later shown attending Twilight’s coronation ceremony together and still being together when they’re older in future Ponyville.

Lyra and Bon Bon and the Mares from S.M.I.L.E.[]
The two are the main characters of this book, where Sweetie Drops is referred to as Bon Bon. The story begins with the two returning home from Pinkie Pie’s Hearts and Hooves Day party. Bon Bon discusses how ever since she revealed her past as a special agent to Lyra, she’s felt uneasy around people, even Lyra, but Lyra assures her that she’s just being paranoid. They try to get their minds off the topic with their Hearts and Hooves Day tradition of frozen hot cocoa, but are then interrupted by a loud knocking at the door, which prompts Bon Bon to hide Lyra in a closet. Agent Furlong bursts in and reveals that due to Bon Bon’s cover being blown, she has to leave Ponyville, which makes Lyra come out of the closet and beg for Bon Bon to stay. Furlong doesn’t accept this, and due to Lyra knowing about the agency, he attempts to erase her memories, but when Bon Bon asks if there’s another way to fix this, he suggests that Lyra could join the agency. Bon Bon’s apprehensive of this, though Lyra’s excited, but feels forced to accept the condition anyway.
The two travel to Manehattan with Furlong, and Bon Bon comes to question her decision when she sees Lyra barely being able to contain herself from her excitement. This feeling grows as Lyra is shown to work quite differently from Bon Bon, affecting their ability to work together, and peaks when an agent shows up and suddenly tells them their current mission is done, which Lyra is suspicious of while Bon Bon accepts without question. In response, Bon Bon jealously chews her out for being a know-it-all and storms out. Despite this, Lyra's determined to complete the mission on her own, and successfully kicks off a plan. Later on, Bon Bon returns to apologize to Lyra for not believing her, and Lyra forgives her like it's natural.
At the end of the story, Bon Bon reveals to Lyra that she made a negotiation with Furlong: they can be called upon for a mission when necessary, but only if they're allowed to stay in Ponyville and work together as a team, and Lyra's happy to accept this.
Beyond Equestria: Pinkie Pie Steps Up[]
Serving as an indirect sequel to Mares from S.M.I.L.E., Sweetie Drops is again referred to as Bon Bon. Here, they're shown to still be working together as agents, and they rope in Pinkie Pie to help with a mission, which they find they cannot complete on their own due to being framed for a crime and banned from the event they're trying to investigate.

Starting from when they were first seen with each other in Season One, they, particularly Lyra, due to a scene in which she's seen sitting on a bench like a human, became almost instant fan-favorites, and on the basis of appearing with each other often, they were frequently shipped with each other, quickly becoming the most popular ship for both of them. Due to their lack of major characterization in the show itself for several seasons, they were essentially blank slates for the fandom to lay whatever they wished onto, and the characters grew to have a life of their own beyond the show itself. The team behind the show saw this and took it as the inspiration for their characterization in Slice of Life, which only grew the popularity of the ship, and this eventually snowballed into the ship becoming canon.
In an example of this fanon characterization, a considerable amount of early fanwork considered them to be wives, and a few different children (stemming from the episode Call of the Cutie, which Lyra appears in) were considered to be theirs, with the most prominent one being Liza Doolots (fanonically known as Tootsie Flute).
