Maggot Husbands is the non-binary ship between Ligur and Hastur from the Good Omens fandom.
Canon[]
In the Beginning[]
Hastur and Ligur rise from the ground at a church, Ligur holding a basket. Hastur lights a cigarette and comments that the demon their meeting should have been the one waiting for them. Ligur asks if he trusts the demon, and Hastur says that he doesn't. Ligur says it would be a funny world if Demons started to trust each other, and asks what the demon is calling himself now. Hastur says that he calls himself Crowley, just as Crowley pulls up. Hastur complains about him, just as he gets out of the car and they greet each other. Hastur says that they will recount the deeds of the day and says that he put doubt in the mind of a priest who they will have in a decade. Ligur says that he corrupted a politician that they will have in a year. Crowley says that he took down every mobile phone line in London, which the two are unimpressed by. He asks what's up, and they show him the basket, with the son of Satan inside. They says it's up to him to put the baby in place, and Ligur hands over the basket. They throw Crowley's own words back at him, and ask why he isn't as enthusiastic to be part of this. He takes the baby, and yells "Chiao", Ligur asking what it means. Hastur says it's Italian, but doesn't get the translation correct.
Present Day, Ligur and Hastur visit a cell in hell, opening the viewing window to see a hellhound. Ligur comments on how large he is, and Hastur says that he's the biggest they have, made specifically for the anti-christ. Ligur asks if it's hungry, and Hastur says that there's only one way to find out. They throw a lesser demon in and Hastur tells him to look out for the teeth. The demon is attacked and Ligur says that Hastur had warned him about the teeth.

Trivia[]
- The ship name comes from both of their associated animals, a frog and a chameleon, eating maggots. It was popularized by the TV series.
- The "Lurking Homos" ship name stems from them being described as "professional lurkers" in the book. Additionally, it's a play on their initials "L" and "H".
- The "Satanic Jehovah's Witnesses" name comes from them being loyal to Satan and often showing up at Crowley's doorstep uninvited.
