MakiMiwa is the femslash ship between Maki Zenin and Kasumi Miwa from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
The two first see each other when their two schools reunite. They then meet again later, when Maki is running into the forest with Megumi, and Miwa waits to ambush them with Kamo. She goes for Maki, and attacks her with a sword of hers, the two then separate from their respective partners. A flashback is then shown of Mai talking to Miwa, telling her that Maki is "worthless", and that due to her having no cursed energy, she is forever stuck as a fourth-grade sorcerer. This makes Miwa feel better, although she is shocked to see how powerful she really is. She calls her "crazy strong", and even curses Mai for it, mentally calling her an idiot.
A plan in her head is to get in close with her; considering the length of Maki's weapon, but cannot due to her agility and speed. Miwa starts thinking about her power, and that she could easily clean a grade-2 curse with ease, despite her low rank, and is beyond surprise. She starts wondering about how strong she is, and how she got her talent. Backing away, Miwa starts using her technique, and creates a small area, until Maki breaks her weapon in half, and throws it at her, which she hits away with her sword, but sees other hidden weapons. Before she can react, Maki attacks with another tool, which Miwa quickly blocks, but with struggle.
Maki then twists her sword and makes her fall to the ground, pointing Miwa's own weapon at her, complimenting it as a nice blade. She luckily gets on her own feet, but then sees that her sword is gone from her hands. She asks it back, although Maki leaves before she is unable to do anything. She instead leaves and goes to Mai, she also ends up defeating her, with Miwa's sword being a contributing factor, but later when she arrives to help the other students fight a special grade, she ends up breaking it on the curse's tough skin when trying to sneak attack it. Miwa's reaction to this is not known, but it was later revealed in a flashback of Miwa that she managed to retrieve her sword and question who broke it and wonders if it was Maki who did so (which it was). but she is seen with a new tool when she combats against Geto. Miwa was also one of the many people who laughed when Maki intentionally threw a baseball at Todo while he was talking to Itadori. She could also be heard complimenting said pitch in the background with the others.
Fanon[]
Fans don't tend to ship this in a romantic sense. Due to the only interaction they've shared on-screen was their fight, it hasn't been considered popular. Loved ships such as NobaMaki and MechaMiwa often overshadow this ship. It was mostly accepted during the time their episode was released, and their fanbase had died quickly after. Despite the ship not being as popular as the latter two pairings, it is actually quite supported within the fandom. Having a decent amount of fanart involving the ship and has over 10 works on AO3. Fans also tend to visualize a trope where Miwa is impressed with Maki's moves and fighting style and develops a crush on her after their fight.
