MakoShinoMitsu is the poly ship between Makomo, Shinobu Kocho and Mitsuri Kanroji from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
While Makomo didn't meet them, Mitsuri and Shinobu are both fellow Hashira. Mitsuri and Shinobu are the only two Hashira that are female. And both of them have great respect for each other. As Shinobu believes Mitsuri is cute and cheerful. And Mitsuri also believes that Shinobu is very cute and even states that Shinobu is more composed than her, despite being older. Mitsuri also wishes to spend more time with Shinobu, but unfortunately cannot because due to them both being pillars, they are very busy and don't get many opportunties to interact. But unfortunately Makomo was killed years prior to the current story, so she couldn't meet Shinobu nor Mitsuri. But Makomo is alive in Demon Slayer Academy which is an alternate universe where our lovely Demon Slayer characters are in school . Makomo and Shinobu are seen in the same scene together. When Zenitsu Agatsuma admires how the two looks after already previously admiring how Nezuko Kamado was dressed. But Mitsuri does not make a single appearance in the Demon Slayer Academy. So there couldn't be a scene with all three of these Demon Slayer Characters all together

MakoShinoMitsu is a rarepair inside the DS community. Likely because the three don't have any scenes altogether. Not to mention that Shinobu and Mitsuri never met Makomo so finding people who actually support this ship is very rare. Not to mention, Demon Slayer fans who actually like Femslash content would prefer to ship just Shinobu and Mitsuri. Also there are far too many ships that greatly overshadows this one that includes these characters. Such as ObaMitsu, GiyuShino, ShinoMitsu and SabiMako. In fact, a poly ship named ObaShinoMitsu is slightly similar to this ship, but instead consists of Obanai Iguro, rather than Makomo, this poly ship is more positively received than MakoShinoMitsu.
Despite the ship being very rare to be shipped by fans. It still has a small fanbase and some support from Demon Slayer fans. One potential reason this is shipped is because people who ship both MakoShino and ShinoMitsu , chooses to ship them together to avoid having to choose. Individuals also tend to believe that they are all attracted to females in a way and theorize that had Demon Slayer taken place in more modern times, then each of these three would most likely be romantically attracted to females. Makomo's being either Lesbian or Bi, Shinobu's being Bisexual and Mitsuri's being Bisexual or Pansexual.
Reasoning for this is that fans theorized that there's a chance that Makomo would've been a lesbian had she been alive currently. While the fandom mainly tends to ship her with Sabito and it is true that the ship between them is rather popular on Makomo's side but... Makomo and Sabito were both adopted by Urokodaki, so some people view their relationship as a brother and sister one. So, some fans believe that they would have more of a family bond. So a fair amount of fans tend to avoid shipping them romantically and believe that Makomo would potentially end up loving someone other than Sabito if they were both alive in Demon Slayer's current timeline.
For Shinobu, several fans tend to also ship her with female characters. This is because some people also theorize that Shinobu is bisexual and is romantically attracted to both genders. This is mainly because of the moment where she slept close to Yae and she also tends to be known for how she teases male characters. But even so, people believe that out of the two, that Shinobu has a preference for women, which is often, overlooked or negatively received given her most popular ship GiyuShino, is a heterosexual pairing.
However, some still believe Shinobu would have a female preference if she were bisexual is because her residence, the Butterfly Mansion. Everyone else who also resides there are female as well. So people often believe that Shinobu is less attracted to men because of this but still regards that she could end up dating either gender.
Mitsuri's sexuality is the most speculated, even in spite her being explicitly stated to be heterosexual, giving her mutual feelings towards Iguro, Several Demon Slayer fans tend believe that her sexuality is either Bi or Pansexual because of her being titled as the 'Love Hashira'. Though she's canonically in love with Obanai. People tend to believe that since Shinobu is one of the other characters she is greatly close to. Fans tend to headcanon that she either was romantically attracted to the both of them, or that she at least, formerly had feelings for Shinobu at one point in time. This speculation extended to the point that some fans began to think the relationship between her and Shinobu should've been regarded as 'Semi-Canon' rather than 'Fanon'.
But other fans still hypothesize that in other scenarios, Mitsuri could've ended up having romantic feelings for anyone if they confessed to her, regardless of their gender identity.
In terms of all three of them. Next to no one believed there could be a scenario where these three end up together, given its miniscule fanbase. But some fans tend to theorize if Makomo survived, she would likely grow close to of them if she had gotten the opportunity to meet them. Fans who don't ship them romantically would likely believe that if Shinobu and Mitsuri did meet Makomo, they would think she is cute and all of three of them would likely have that same impression on each other, especially if Makomo became a Hashira alongside them. So though it's a rarepair the ship still has at least some support from fans as a poly ship.

- Makomo and Mitsuri wear sandals that are strikingly similar in design.[1]
- Makomo and Mitsuri both have popular ships with Shinobu. Those ships being ShinoMitsu for Mitsuri, and MakoShino for Makomo.[2][3]
- Shinobu and Mitsuri are the only female Hashira among the Demon Slayer core after Kanae's death. While this may be minor information it could be one of the many reasons the Ship of the two is so popular.
- In Shinobu and Mitsuri's trivias both show they have a good opinion of each other. Shinobu's being, "I like her. It's because she's cheerful and cute." other information on Shinobu's opinion on Mitsuri is also stated differently. Such as in this image where Shinobu says she loves Mitsuri instead of saying she likes her. Mitsuri's opinion of Shinobu is: "She's super cute! Although I'm the older one, Shinobu-chan is more composed. I want to play together with her as fellow girls but there's never any time~." ShinoMitsu also contains images that shows their impression on each other and the other pillars[4].
