Alice meets Dormouse when she comes across the Mad Hatter's tea party.

American McGee's Alice

One moment everything was peaceful as Dormy the Dormouse gets woken up by March Hare for the tea party Alice attends in one of her Wonderland dreams, until a fire started in her house and had caused it to appear in Wonderland. Alice, Dormy and the rest of their friends were running away from the flames on their end, until Hatter gets Alice to wake up before the smoke and fire could harm her sleeping body in the real world. Alice's family dying in the fire broke her mind and twisted Wonderland into an nightmare. Where Dormy and March find themselves being experimented on by the Mad Hatter, who had become much madder since hell hit their home world.

Alice becomes aware of Dormy's predicament when she was called back to Wonderland to save it from the Red Queen. After being captured by Hatter and brought to his mad fun house asylum, she comes across the room Dormy and March were kept in. At first she assumes that they were being punished for upsetting the Mad Hatter, until she realises the pain they were in. Even though Dormy appears to not fully understand what has been done to him, and just wants a cup of tea.

Although Alice rebooting Wonderland revived the friends who died, after defeating the Queen at the end of the first game, Alice Madness Returns reveals that neither Dormy or March Hare were turned back to normal from the reboot. They had become half-metallic and madder, like Hatter was, as they end up building the Internal Train that Alice was tricked into creating in order to forget her painful memories. Alice wasn't aware of this or her part in it, as she fetches the Hatter's stolen limbs from Dormy. Who tries to crush Alice in order to stop her, as he too has been turned from a friend to an enemy from Alice's returned madness. When Alice faces Dormy and March in battle after they unleashed the train on a destructive rampage, Alice's battle with them leads to their deaths. Being more focused on the train and her shattered memories, she didn't pay Dormy's passing much mind as she watches Hatter trying to have a tea party with their corpses.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Seeing Alice struggling to open the door through its keyhole, Mallymkun the Dormouse assumes that the White Rabbit had brought the wrong Alice. Rather than the one they had all met when Alice was a child. Alice having no memory of Underland, from believing that "Wonderland" was a recurring dream, and has changed when she got older, has Mally stand by her earlier statement. Even though the others tell her to give Alice a chance, as they bring her to Absolem.

Due to the limited interactions Alice has had with most versions of Dormouse, it has made this ship one of their rarepairings.

Despite their limited interactions in American McGee's Alice and how Alice Madness Returns has Dormy turn from a friend to a foe, like March Hare and Mad Hatter in the previous game, the ship still has a small fanbase on their AMA counterparts. With AO3 having a few fanfics on their dark twisted game selves.
