Chester and Mandy are playable characters in the game Brawl Stars.
In the game's lore, Mandy and Chester are co-workers, working in a candy store run by Mandy, while Chester is one of her employees, and he particularly enjoys playing pranks on her that can annoy her from time to time. Despite, Chester's purpose is to show his affection for her rather than to annoy her.
In the first animation about them, Chester uses his own explosive bell while Mandy was busy selling candy. After bouncing off her head, landing and exploding, the shot shifts to Chester laughing at the joke, while Mandy, annoyed, uses her Sugar Rush on him several times, but missing him. After that, Mandy laughs smugly, but soon recomposes herself to sell candy.
In the second animation, Mandy gets more candy, and fills the bowls and glass containers with them, meanwhile, Chester looks her from afar about to play tricks on her, such as filling the bowls and containers with fake and smelly candy. Their rotten smell comes out of the store, which will later be tagged by Amber, Sam and Ash, breaking into the store and attacking Mandy. Meanwhile, Chester, panicked by what could happen to Mandy, throws a bell to stop the pieces of ice thrown by Amber, and, consequently, saving her. After a bit of a fight, Chester and Mandy sit back to back exhausted, with Chester eating one of the fake candies, coughing up shortly after, with Mandy looking at him and laughing.
In the third animation, the same one in which Berry was presented, Mandy and Chester seem to be having fun together while they make a fuss in the storie. With Berry trying to put everything back in order but to no avail. At the end, Berry can be seen surrendering, while eating a lollipop, and Chester and Mandy continuing to joke and have fun with each other.

In the game, both characters are matched with each other, both in terms of skins (including defaults) and voice lines, as both mention each other in various voice lines. Depending on the players' choices, they can be fellow fighters, if they are on the same team, or enemies on the respective enemy team.

Chester and Mandy, introduced in 2022, have become popular characters in a short time, as they are part of the same trio, although they started as a duo, with Berry being introduced a year and a half later. Their pair, referred to as "ManChester" (also referring to Manchester United, a pun within the fandom), has become increasingly popular over time, most notably, it reached the peak of popularity in 2023. It was also due to their designs, the trope of a jester that is at the service of his queen and thanks to their moments and interactions in the official art and animation made by Supercell. There are also a lot of fanarts, comics and edits about the ship, particularly on Tiktok, Twitter and Instagram, as the Brawl Stars fandom focuses more on these platforms. The hashtag "#mandyxchester", on Tiktok, has over 3000+ posts, while on the AO3 it has over 30+ fanfictions, proving to be the third most written ship, and the most popular het ship in the Brawl Stars fandom. Despite this, the ship between Mandy and Chester still has some rivals, the most important is Dracandy, the ship between Draco and Mandy which has started to gain more and more popularity over time, and is still gaining popularity, and although ManChester is still a popular, it is no longer popular compared to many months ago, before the release of the "Scary Tales" Season, and the brawler, Draco, who as male character has gained many popularity, even more than Chester. Other rival ships that have started to gain popularity over time are also Manlette, the femslash ship between Mandy and Colette, and DraChester, the slash ship between Draco and Chester. And at one time, a fairly well-known artist and editor on TikTok for ManChester, was “strassen.musicvnt”, who did a lot of edits and fanart about the ship, while on X/Twitter, another very well-known artist named “@lazzyjester”, also made a lot fanarts about them, but currently, while both are active on the respective platforms, they no longer post on the ship. ManChester is shipped along Fangster, Sholt and others.

- It has been confirmed that Mandy and Chester's relationship is described as a "love-hate" relationship, although it is mostly hate.
- Both Mandy and Chester are among the few characters to mention each other in their voice lines.
- Brawl Stars Korea released a video in which Chester, with hearts fluttering around him, is seen serving Mandy, and later they both fight enemies together.[1]
- Both Mandy and Chester, upon release, were announced together in the Brawl Talk in December 2022.
- In the Candyland theme of the maps, it is possible to notice, in the background, Mandy on her throne with Chester popping out from behind her from time to time.
