Marahope is the femslash ship between Mara and Light Hope from the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power fandom.
Canon[]
Light Hope is the AI construct assigned to Mara by the First Ones to aid in her training as She-Ra. Mara and Light Hope came to Etheria together to study its magic for using the Heart of Etheria project, although Mara is unaware of the projects goal. While on Etheria the two become friends, with Mara simple calling Light Hope, "Hope". When Razz first meets Mara and searches her ship for sugar, Mara convinces Light Hope not to report the incidence by giving her puppy eyes.
While training in the Crystal Castle, Mara brings Light Hope flowers as she feels bad that Light Hope is alone in the castle while she explores Etheria. Light Hope tells her she doesn't mind because Mara comes to visit her, and then transforms the floor to look like a field of flowers that Mara brought. This is the only memory Light Hope still has of Mara by the time Adora is She-Ra. She tells Adora that the memory brings her warmth.
At some unknown point in the future Mara becomes aware of what the Heart of Etheria project truly is and seeks to stop this. Light Hope tries to stop Mara, however Mara tells her she is not Light Hope, to which Light Hopes notes "I am the same basic operating system." Mara damages the new Light Hope and traps Etheria in a pocket dimension before seemingly succumbing to her wounds.
As Adora uses her Sword of Protection standing in front of Light Hope, she tells her that Mara wanted to protect them from Light Hope hurting anyone else. This seems to upset Light Hope, who sadly repeats Mara's name outloud. Adora then keeps invoking Mara's name and Light Hope starts feeling conflicted. However, her programming seems to overtake her and to make her think that Mara is her enemy. So Adora tells her that Mara deeply cared about her, and that she thought of Light Hope as more than just a program. As Adora starts using all her powers, Light Hope starts fighting her own programming, and in her last moments before getting deleted, she has flashbacks of all the moments she spent with Mara.
Fanon[]
The She-Ra fandom did not expect any major ships to develop with Light Hope as many were already subconscious of her true motives during season 1. However as Mara and Light Hope's backstory was revealed the fandom embraced the ship. Some theories that Mara may still be alive somewhere and the two could be reunited in the final season.
On AO3, Marahope is the most written ship for both Mara and Light Hope.

- ND Stevenson, the series author, confirmed in an interview that Light Hope loved Mara.[1]
