Marien is the slash ship between Adrien Agreste and Marc Anciel from the Miraculous Ladybug fandom.

Marc and Adrien are both students at Collège Françoise Dupont. Adrien is in Miss Bustier's class, and Marc is in Miss Mendeleiev's class, making him one year younger. At the end of season 5, Adrien and the rest of his class graduate, but Marc still has one more year in the school. Both characters are also members of "Team Miraculous", with Adrien taking up the mantle of Cat Noir and Marc being Rooster Bold. As of yet, they do not know each other's secret identities.
Despite sharing a number of mutual friends, the two rarely interact together. In the episode "Reverser", Adrien (as Cat Noir) fights against the akumatized Marc. When Marc falls after being de-akumatized, Adrien catches him. Marc is also shown to support the potential for a relationship between Adrien and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. On multiple occasions, he and Nathaniel Kurtzberg try to help Marinette to confess her feelings. Although this fails a number of times, he continues to encourage Marinette to pursue Adrien.
The most famous moment Adrien and Marc share is during the episode "Party Crasher", when Marc attends the party at Adrien's mansion. He and Nathaniel are photographed kissing Adrien's cheeks. Marc was one of the guests to Adriden's first ever party in his room, while his father supposedly away. Making that kiss posed photo something to mark the happy occasion in Adrien's life.

Marien is a rarepair in the Miraculous fandom. This is likely due to the fact that the two characters rarely interact with each other. The prolific support of Marcaniel, even before it was confirmed canon by the creator, is likely another reason why the ship never sailed. Still, the two characters are shown to be close friends through the course of the series. Many fans ship the two for their individual beauty and kind nature.
