The Power of Two[]
At the end of the season's hide and seek challenge, Bottle and Marker, along with Tree and Grassy, survive the entirety of the challenge without being tagged. As the Death P.A.C.T. members anticipate where Bottle could have hidden the entire challenge, she announces her presence and comes out from behind the hotel door. Marker is part of the crowd impressed by this as he cheers and chants her name in celebration.
Bottle takes over hosting duties for the following challenge as Four and X clean up the hotel kitchen, which Marker and Tree accidentally destroyed. After she does the Cake at Stake ceremony, Bottle contemplates what would make a good challenge for the contestants. With Golf Ball and Snowball feeling doubtful, Marker vouches for Bottle and insists that she would make a good host. After Bottle gets a challenge idea, the three watch Bottle attempt to teleport the contestants by putting them inside her before she quickly grows tired and asks the rest of them to just follow her. Bottle introduces them to the reopening of the A-twos-ment park, where she takes Marker and drags him elsewhere for the challenge, doing so for the other contestants as well. Afterwards, she explains that she has split the contestants into four groups of four, with one in each group representing each team. For Marker, Bottle has him, Pen, Snowball, and Golf Ball ride a Ferris wheel and instructs them to be the last one remaining on it. However, before this, she accidentally melts Snowball and has Marker's group wait an extra day for her to recover him. Later near the end of the challenge, Marker takes out Golf Ball, Snowball, and Pen from the Ferris wheel and wins the challenge for his team. Bottle presents this during the results, stating that Marker got 4 points for his team for a total of 12 for Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again.
During a storm as the contestants take shelter inside the hotel, Bottle, Grassy, and Marker anxiously watch the storm from the front window. Tree sees them flinch from the power briefly going out and asks everyone if they can find a distraction for them. After Cake at Stake when TV is eliminated, he looks around and sees Bottle and Marker hanging out with Tree while TV reflects about no one caring about him as a mechanical mind. During the battle royale challenge, Fanny and Marker follow Pen and Bottle in the second floor after both duos had previously encountered a murderous Pencil. However, Liy attacks Fanny and Marker before the two can catch up to them.

Markottle is a rarepair overall in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. Even before the two had interacted in the show, fans were quick to put the two together because of their similar characteristics. With both being known for being cheerful and silly, along with the two both having ties to the Death P.A.C.T. teams, the pairing grew among those fans of Death P.A.C.T. ships and fans of the two characters in general. With the two eventually crossing paths in The Power of Two and Marker being supportive of Bottle during this, video edits of the two increased and reflected on this dynamic. Ship art of the two often incorporates themes of their shared characteristics and puts them in a positive matter.
