Marthberry is the femslash ship between Martha and Mrs. Mayberry from the Helluva Boss fandom.

Canon

Murder Family

Mayberry saw Martha for the first time when she was going to call her husband on the computer to congratulate him on his birthday. Then she saw her husband having sex with Martha. A furious Mayberry then left school to teach Martha and her husband a lesson. She went home to stage a massacre, while the children at her school watched. After killing her husband and shooting Martha, Mayberry then took her own life.

Martha survived, but was hospitalized and all bandaged up. Martha became the center of people's attention for having survived the Mayberry attack. When interviewers asked her how it felt to survive it, Martha said she hoped she had found peace. Every time Martha had an interview they gave him 2 million dollars, eventually making her rich. After that, everyone would call Martha "hero" constantly, even when she's having sex.

In hell, Mayberry went to hire IMP to kill Martha and thus get revenge. Mayberry told Blitzo her story and in the end he concluded that Martha was hotter than her. Blitzo was about to reject her request because he didn't take her story seriously, but then Mayberry approached Blitzo in a threatening manner and he called Moxxie to place the order. In the end IMP killed Martha and her family and they celebrated with a party.

Apology Tour

Blitzo went on a tour to apologize to all the people he had wronged, starting with Martha. Blitzo went to Martha's house to give her a basket of food. After that, Mayberry showed up fresh from the shower at Martha's house. Blitzo stared at Martha and Mayberry in confusion before smirking and giving Martha a knowing look. Martha then told Blitz "Yeah, that's fucking right", implying that it was exactly what he was thinking and that she and Mayberry were indeed in a relationship. Then Martha closed the door on him.

Fanon

The ship started as a crack pairing due to their story and them only appearing in the first episode until Apology Tour. After Apology Tour, the ship exploded in popularity after the reveal that they are living together, which suggests that they are in a relationship. Many people were delighted by this reveal, with many thinking it was a fun twist and looked cute. However, other people criticized it saying it was too weird and surreal. Others defended it saying that since they are both in hell, they don't question the morals there much. Another interesting aspect for many is wondering how they ended up the way they are or what became of Martha's family after all.

• For Helluva Boss' Valentine's Day 2025 collection, magnetic keychain pairs were sold that linked a character with their romantic partner. One pair of keychains featured Martha and Mayberry, and the rest were the series' canonical couples, Stolitz, Moxillie, Fizzmodeus, and HoneyHound. The collection's announcement called them "decadent candy heart charms with magnetic connections for your ship lovers."
