Mathlete is the slash ship between Logan Bell and Spencer Lawrence from the Disventure Camp fandom.
Canon[]
Come One, Come All[]
Spencer and Logan are put on the separate teams with Spencer being on the Red team alongside Diego, Jade, Amelie, Tristan, Zaid, Ivy, Hannah, and Benji; and Logan being put on the Blue team alongside Alessio, Anastasia, Isabel, Lynda, Marissa, Natalia, Richard and Ted.
Going in Circles[]
At night after the Red Team's ceremony, Richard is telling a spooky story to Anastasia and Logan about a bog monster. Logan is terrified, yet Anastasia is unfazed as Richard didn't even describe the monster. Richard then describes that the monster has green skin, demented eyes and a British accent, all while Spencer approaches the campfire. When he greets them, a scared Logan punches him hard in the face, giving him a black eye in the process. While Spencer's on the log in pain, Logan immediately apologises for punching him. Spencer informs the group that there's a team swap.
The next day, Logan is shown tending to Spencer's black eye from last night and apologises again. Spencer admits that it's not the first crack he's taken which Logan is intrigued by and encourages him to share. Spencer pushes him away while asking if he must yet Logan says that since he's on the Blue team, he wants to know more about him, which Spencer seems touched by. Natalia asks about him and Diego and assumes that they were a fling which Spencer doesn't take well and walks off angrily.
Logan confronts Natalia that she may have hit a sore spot, and Natalia guesses that Logan is defending because he thinks he's cute. Logan gives a shy look and blushes, confirming Natalia's suspicion. Natalia is shocked but reassures him that it's ok if he does. Logan sadly expresses that it doesn't fit in with being the "Golden Child".
During the carousel challenge when Spencer's hand starts slipping off the ride, Logan shouts over to Spencer saying that they've got it but then notices that he isn't on the carousel seat and notices him flying off it with a concerned look for him. Logan hands loses grip and follows Spencer falling off the ride too making Blue Team lose the challenge.
Appetite for Destruction[]
Before the challenge, the two are on the beach. Logan is tanning while Spencer goes fishing. When Spencer returns, he happily smiles at Logan and makes a joke. Logan finds the joke amusing. The two banter for a bit, smiling at each other and enjoying each other's company. In a confessional, Logan says that he 'trusts Spencer'.
During the challenge, Spencer looks concerned for Logan and tries to encourage him. He tells Logan that 'he can do it'.
After losing the challenge, Spencer gathers Lynda, Richard, and Logan to try to decide who to vote for. Everyone, aside from Logan, is in agreement to vote for Anastasia. Spencer tries to convince Logan to vote for her, stating that it would be a bad move to not. Logan tries to argue back but Spencer pushes and says that Anastasia voted 'against them'. In a confessional, Spencer explains that 'Logan won't stick to the plan unless influenced by force or persuaded'.
After voting out Lynda, Spencer is visibly upset at Logan, though he does not make any remarks about it. In Logan's final confessional, he admits he's glad he followed his heart but acknowledges that he 'probably should have talked to Spencer first' and that Logan hopes that 'he is not mad'.
Poles Apart[]
As the Blue team returns from Lynda's elimination, Natalia and Anastasia are seen praising Logan for getting rid of the biggest thorn in their team causing the swimmer to be flattered. Spencer watches in annoyance and then shortly after, he confronts Logan on why he flipped against his alliance. He states that he did the deed cuz Anastasia and Natalia are his friends but the British student shuts him down by saying that everyone is his friend but as it seems, Spencer is second rate in the end. Logan tries to console his ally by saying that he has his back only for Spencer to brush it off and states that nobody has his back. He starts to tear up as he states that he got rid of the only person who supported him through thick and thin, referring to Diego. As he walks away disheartened as the swimmer worries about Spencer's well-being from what happened on the Red team.
Elephant in the Corner[]
Later that night after Lynda's expulsion, the Blue team returns to their campground as they all sit around the campfire. Richard comments on Ana’s positive mood as the model responds that now she feels like all her problems are solved with Lynda out of the picture. However she glares at Natalia as she calls her out for almost helping Lynda win. Natalia scoffs and tells the model that immunity was more than enough of a good reason. Spencer smugly says that now the immunity is his and he can rest easy now. Natalia in turn tells the British student to enjoy it while he still can as Anastasia adds that Spencer is still the next target despite appreciating his help in taking down Lynda. Spencer is baffled by this revelation, pointing the finger at Natalia for being much more untrustworthy for throwing away their alliance.
Natalia continues to defend her stance that the immunity was more than enough reason. Anastasia, on the other hand, states that an enemy that she barely knows is more dangerous than an enemy she does know. Spencer awkwardly states that he'll just continue their winning streak till they merge. Natalia taunts him once more that there will be trouble on the horizon for him given his poor reputation on his old team. Spencer decides to stand up and leaves the campfire with noticeable sadness in his eyes much to his team's indifference with the exception of Logan and Richard. Logan wanders through the forest and finds the British student sitting alone at shore collecting his thoughts. Spencer asks Logan to leave him alone but the swimmer refuses as he attempts to lighten the mood by complimenting him lasting long in their previous challenge.

- We all do! I freaked up a lot! I mean, if you didn't, I'd be worried. Perfect people scare me.

But Spencer calls that barely an accomplishment as he admits that he destroyed his game a long time ago and is merely just delaying the inevitable. He mentions how poetic his situation is with Sisyphus as he remarks that this is his punishment as he begins to remove his glasses. Logan asks him to elaborate in confusion as Spencer admits that he eliminated Diego much to the swimmer's concern. The British student stares at the reflection of his glasses as he stated that Diego wanted them to be together but it posed as a distraction from the game so he ended up eliminating the safari guide. Logan tells his friend that it's just a game but Spencer lashes out stating that he never intended to break his heart. In the end, Spencer sees himself as no different from his Ex partner, throwing him away just like he did with Diego in this game. Tears began to fall from his eyes as Spencer felt immense regret for hurting him despite his unconditional kindness. He calls him a shitty person but Logan moves closer and wipes his tears, telling him that he shouldn't dwell on his mistakes. Spencer in turn tells the swimmer that it's hard for him to just forget his mistakes since he is constantly reminded of them but Logan tells him that everyone makes mistakes and that a flawed person is better than a perfect person. Logan adds a cheeky comment that peanut butter is also not his favorite, preferring jelly sandwiches instead. Spencer laughs at his flimsy attempt at humor and finds it rather comforting. Logan smiles, feeling glad that he got Spencer to open up more but as Spencer shakes his hand while thanking him for talking to him as he tries to get some rest; Logan begins to spontaneously blush as he stares at his hand unsure what this new feeling is.
The next morning during the challenge, Logan explains in the most goofiest way how the last trial went as Spencer smiles at the gesture. When the blue team assembled their latter, Anastasia offers to fire the cannon as Spencer joins in only to be shut down as the model asks Logan for help instead. But Logan puts a hand on Spencer's shoulder, telling him he'll get the next one which puts a smile on Spencer's face.

Fanon[]
Mathlete is one of the more recent ships in the community as mostly springing from the Team swap as Spencer and Logan haven't had any interactions in the previous episodes. Many also love how they follow the trope of a Nerd x Jock dynamic. Their ship name is a pun of the word "mathlete" with Spencer being a excellent math student and Logan being an Olympic athlete. The reveal of Logan's attraction towards Spencer garnered a boost in popularity for the pairing.
However, it slowly became one of the more divisive ships as fans of the pairing hold different perspectives. Some believe the two have the potential to form a blossoming romance whereas others prefer them to remain friends due to Spencer's ship-teased pairing having a likelihood of happening. The community also have worried of the possibility for a love triangle drama between the three, believing it'll re-trend the infamous love triangle drama of Tom, Aiden and Jake in the early half of All Stars.
Nevertheless both sides agree that the two will have a positive impact on with Spencer opening himself up and Logan being true to himself when it comes to his sexuality. There are currently 6+ fanfics of the ship on AO3. It rivals Logan's and Spencer's most popular ships like Logalessio and Diencer.
