Matt Murdock is a character from the Marvel and Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom.
Character[]
Matt Murdock is Daredevil, a crime-fighter vigilante operating out of Hell's Kitchen, New York. By day, Murdock acts as a criminal lawyer and fights crime as Daredevil by night. Murdock was blinded at the age of nine while trying to save an elderly man from being run over by a large truck transporting toxic chemicals. The chemicals spilled in the crash and caused Murdock's blindness, as well as giving him certain superhuman abilities in his other working senses that he successfully honed after years of practice to use for crime-fighting without his sense of sight. Because he operates on both sides of the law, Murdock is very keen on keeping enemies alive so they can go through the justice system rather than killing them or letting them run free. This often causes disagreements with other vigilantes like the Punisher or Moon Knight, who take him less seriously due to this point of principle.
