Life is Strange: Before the Storm[]
Back in 2010 when Chloe attended Blackwell Academy, Skip was the school’s campus security guard. Depending on player choice, Chloe and Skip can both consider the other their friend, or have their friendship end.
Episode 1: Awake[]
Chloe can walk up to Skip while he’s standing outside Blackwell Academy’s front grounds, asking if he’s “stopped any gang wars lately.” Upon noticing Chloe’s blacken right eye, he says to her that “she did, though,” leaving Chloe confused for a moment before remembering the previous night she had. Player choice, Chloe can tell Skip she attended a Firewalk concert at the old mill last night, leading to Skip informing her that he’s in a band called “PissHead” when he learns that they both share a love for the same type of music. Skip asks if Chloe would like to listen to his band’s demo that he’s trying to get out. Should the player accept, Skip is excited and pulls out his phone, asking what she thinks of the song. Chloe can tell him it was “really good” or “meh”. Upon telling him it was “really good,” Skip is thrilled and greatly appreciates Chloe’s kind words, thanking her.
A short time later, Drew North is bullying Nathan Prescott, leading to Samantha Myers begging Chloe to help Nathan. Should Chloe help him by back talking Drew, Skip will come over and ask if everything is alright, with Chloe telling him there’s no problems there.
Episode 2: Brave New World[]
Due to the previous night that Chloe had with Rachel Amber in the first episode, she is suspended or expelled from Blackwell Academy. She is forced to clear out her locker, with Skip being the one to escort her there and off of campus grounds once she’s finished. Depending how Chloe interacted with Skip when he played her his demo in the first episode will determine how he is to Chloe’s situation – whether he’s friendly and supportive or neutral.
Later that day, Chloe agrees to a job by Frank Bowers to locate and take back money owed to him and his boss from Drew, one of their sellers. Chloe steps back onto Blackwell property where after having gotten the school’s janitor keys, she’s moments from entering the locked boy’s dormitories. Just as she’s opening the doors, Skip walks out to see her. Chloe tries to explain that “it’s cool” that she’s there, telling him that Samuel Taylor, the janitor, said it was fine. However Skip asks if Wells, the school’s principal is. Not having an answer, Chloe remains silent, leading to Skip realizing the situation. Having to get into the dormitories, Chloe elects to backtalk Skip, claiming that “he’ll just have to let this slide.” Skip stands his ground, declaring that unless Chloe states her official business, he’s going to need her to leave the school’s property.
Chloe hates for having to do this to Skip, but she decides with the backtalk. She wants to make him so uncomfortable that he gives her a pass. If Chloe is successful in the backtalk challenge, Skip is made uncomfortable by Chloe “complaining” about being on her period, leading to Skip being revealed to receive a call from Wells and let her continue into the dormitories. Should Chloe fail the backtalk challenge, Skip will become so angry that he quits his job on the spot.
Episode 3: Hell is Empty[]
Skip and Chloe have no interaction during this episode.

Matthewsprice is an incredibly small ship, basically nonexistent. This could be because Chloe Price is an extremely prominent character within the Life is Strange series, being involved in relationships with other more popular characters, while Skip is a minor character and a man. Nevertheless, Chloe and Skip’s determinant friendship is enjoyed by very small handful people.
