McLaineley is the het ship between Chris McLean and Blaineley O'Halloran from the Total Drama fandom.

Chris McLean and Blaineley O'Halloran are both the television hosts of Total Drama and Celebrity Manhunt, respectively. Although they originally started off on different shows, Blaineley eventually joined the Total Drama series, when she started hosting the aftermath segments in Total Drama World Tour. She ended up getting even closer to Chris, when she accidentally won a "Second Chance" challenge on the Aftermath show and wound up joining the main series, herself, as a contestant.
In "Niagara Brawls", Chris received word that Blaineley would be coming onto the show and despite this unorthodox turn of events, Chris accepted it, seeing Blaineley's introduction as a game-changer, who would really shake things up with the other contestants and boost ratings. Upon her glorious introduction, Blaineley was not welcomed by the majority of the contestants, who called this out as being against the rules, only for Chris to defend it, refering to Blaineley, or "Miss Thang" as a "Ratings Jewel". Chris McLean treated Blaineley no different than every other contestant, forcing her to compete in the challenges and putting her through hell, doing it. Blaineley did not seem to understand the concept of the reality TV show, believing there to be things like retakes and scripts and stuff, as well as expecting a makeup and wardrobe department. Needless to say, Miss Thang was in for a rude awakening.
In "Chinese Fake-Out", Blaineley showed up in Chris' hot tub in the executive section of the plane, even though this was against the rules. Chris was very irritated with her presence, especially with how she was stealing his job, doing the recap. Blaineley was cheating at the game, with the assistance of Chef. She was able to convince Chef to help her cheat, by saying that Chris was just holding him back. When Blaineley got busted for cheating with Chef, it landed them both in trouble. At the end of the episode, Blaineley was eliminated but before she went, she had a few words to say about Chris McLean. She told Chris that the network originally wanted her to host Total Drama but she turned them down so they went with Chris instead. This angered Chris into pushing Blaineley off the plane. Later that day, Blaineley's words were shown to have really gotten to Chris as even he asked Chef if he was really the first pick for the show.

Despite their short time together, many fans find Chris and Blaineley to be a fitting couple, due to their similarities. Both of them are narcissistic, sarcastic reality show hosts, who love stirring up drama and taking enjoyment from the misfortune of others. Blaineley is also one of the few characters in the show (besides Chef) who can ethically be shipped with Chris, due to how so few other adult characters are in the show or have any strong interactions with Chris.
