MephOJ is the slash ship between Mephone and OJ from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.
Canon[]
After OJ agrees with Taco, MePhone tells him, Taco, and Lightbulb to stop interrupting him. OJ asks him if crossing the border is racist, but MePhone answers no. MePhone4 announces that the series is going into merge. OJ isn't happy about the merge announcement and tells MePhone if he's serious, MePhone tells him if he's look likes he's kidding to him. OJ asks MePhone why he's getting rid of the recap by pushing it off a cliff. MePhone tells him and Marshmallow that it's not wanted in the episode. When MePhone tells OJ that he's the next one to compete in the challenge. OJ didn't felt comfortable about it and tells MePhone that he can't swim, MePhone asks him what did he do in The Crappy Cliff, which OJ replies he just stood around. When MePhone announces the next challenge was "MePhone says", OJ asks him if it was a game for 5 years old, MePhone answers that he's a year old. He later makes everyone drink out of OJ.
OJ asks MePhone why is he locking Bow in her box. MePhone tells him to make sure she doesn't escape and try to rejoin, after when OJ wins the challenge, he's surprised to see him winning. After OJ says "Lucky guess...", MePhone tells him he's lucky from the elimination. When MePhone says the next challenge is not to be eliminated, OJ was confused and tells it was a little vague.
When OJ gets confused about his cork, MePhone tells him that he will see. He ends up realizing the cork is for the Crappy Cliff challenge, so he doesn't loses his juice. MePhone slaps OJ after he says he wouldn't put the suitcase past him, after OJ is done with his speech, MePhone reminds him for winning Inanimate Insanity, he gets a cookie, OJ is surprised to get one, later, OJ asks MePhone if he really baked the cookie, MePhone answers that he did all by himself.
MePhone4 gives OJ his prize money and he uses it to build a hotel, which MePhone4 is present for when he does so.
MePhone tells him that he has done something impressive about his prize, which OJ answers "Thanks!". But short while, the plane crashes into OJ's Million Dollar Hotel and caused OJ's death from shock.
Cherries explains that the portal teleported the eliminated contestants into OJ's closet, OJ is utterly shocked to hear this, but MePhone4 enters and scorns OJ for opening the closet. OJ backfires and scorns MePhone4 for locking innocent people in his closet against their will. MePhone4 claims he wouldn't hurt a fly, though disproving this seconds later after killing a fly (along with the fact that MePhone4 crashed an airplane into Hotel OJ in the first episode), and taunts OJ. In return, OJ then sues MePhone4, and takes him to court. OJ wins the case and is given Inanimate Insanity for a day. MePhone4 brings back Suitcase when he came back however, due to being eliminated unfairly. MePhone arranged things with OJ so that the eliminated contestants live inside of the hotel instead of being locked in a closet, and pulls OJ towards him when doing so.
Fanon[]
This ship is quite popular in the fandom. The ship originates from the finale where MePhone4 gave OJ the prize money of the show. People saw it as cute after OJ smiled at him even after he called his cookies disgusting and MePhone argued back jokingly. It didn't gain much traction until Season 2 in Episode 7. In the episode, OJ sues MePhone4 due to him keeping the eliminated contestants in a closet in the hotel without his consent. People took this episode and changed their relationship into a Enemies to Lovers trope and started making fan art of the two being together. Another reason as to why the ship has popularity is due to the fact that in that same episode, MePhone had pulled OJ close towards him without any sort of discomfort (and if anything the opposite) despite the fact that he is seen to lean away from or dislike physical contact from others multiple times throughout the series. The ship is still quite popular even after 10 years of no MePhone and OJ interactions in Season 2 and 3. Their most common rival ships are PayJay, the ship between Paper and OJ, and FloorPhone, the ship between MePhone4 and The Floor. One of its most common pairs alongside it is PaperCut, the ship between Paper and Knife.
