Hello again! Got some news for the community, so I am reaching out to the active admin. The Movies/TV Vertical will be holding a Valentine's Day-themed wiki editing event this month, and Shipping Wiki is one of the romance-themed wikis that will be highlighted! We hope this will bring in a few new editors and get romance-themed wikis some love, and it's a good opportunity to focus on any areas that you think might need attention. We've already put some info for editors in Special:Community, but this is a good time to update that area with anything you'd like visiting editors to take a look at.
Shipping Wiki looks pretty good, but are there any areas of the wiki that you'd like to see improved? Any wish list items, either for article pages or for any other part of the wiki?
As your Fandom Wiki Manager, I can help. And if you ever have any questions or issues relating to the wiki, editing, or anything of the sort, please let me know here, or contact me anytime on my message wall or on Discord.
I just noticed that Zamyafield11 has done a for Frozen, and it seems to be in a bit of a picul with its character section and I'm having trouble fixing it. If you or any of the other admins have the time, can you take a look at it and possibly fix it up?
I've just noticed that Zamyafields11 has done a Nav for How to Train Your Dragon, without consulting or alerting you guys of it, and has done it wrong with the characters and color scheme. I have tried to fix it, but I had ended up making it worse.
I should warn you, the Hanmin page will go back to being a stub, meaning it will get deleted again. It doesn't meet the wiki's page requirements, which you can read here. Though that being said, I have restored the page for you.
Hello! My name is Kylara , and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for Shipping Wiki, so I'm going around introducing myself to the active admin here. I'm here to help the community and be a liaison to full-time Fandom staff. If you ever have any questions or issues relating to the wiki, editing, layout, design, templates, or anything of the sort, please contact me on my message wall!
Zamyamf1028 has just made a Kim Possible (Fandom) page and a character page before any ship pages of it were made, there's only five listed on it and I have a feeling that the facts on it were copy and pasted from another wiki. Since the guy has a habit of making character and fandom pages when there is only one or none ships of it/them made, and has done a bit of plagiarism on this a few other wikis. Like using the facts on Stalka to make a relationship on the HTTYD wiki, until I reported it to its admins. So you also might want to check and compare the facts on the just added Flinn page.
I have tried to tell Zamyamf1028 not to do this, but there is a chance that their not checking their messages on the wall or might just be adoring it. If this keeps going on, the guy might end up getting blocked from this wiki; since they appear to be one a role today.
If a Nav for the The Legend of Zelda was to be made, would the color scheme of it be yellow, green, blue and red to reference the Triforce and the three golden goddesses? As yellow/gold is viewed as its surface color, while green references the Triforce of Courage, as well as Link's signer green tunic, blue is used to reference the Triforce of Wisdom and the goddess Nayru and red is the reference color of the Triforce of Power, the goddess Din and sometimes Ganondorf.
There are a few ships to grant it, but I don't know how to make one and there is a chance that you or any of the other admins might think that it isn't enough for one yet. Which is why I'll leave it to you to you decide.
We don't have a limit for the number of ships needed for a fandom to have an Nav. Normally I do about the same for a fandom page, or when it looks like there's about to be enough, based on users/a user adding in pages. I mostly also use an html color finder to get the colors that would work best. I also can't build one from scratch, so I normally copy and paste from another one and work around that.
A bit, as I don't know if it is like making a page or if I need to go somewhere else on the wiki to do it, and I'll like an opinion on the color scheme I surjected, encase it doesn't turn out right in the end.
I did explain the meaning behind the other colors, so Tizmoa or you can know why I had subjected them, and is making a template like making a page by going to Add new page or is the template make button is somewhere else? As I have never done one before and that is why I'm a little confused.
I do see green as the top color while yellow, blue and red are its inner colours, but I'm not sure which order they should be in?
The guy keeps placing the "some implied canon evidence" text on the page and had even changed the icon image. I left a message to tell Aoitsubaki to stop but there is a chance they might not listen to reason and might get the guy blocked if it comes to it.
Iced-Goddamn-Tea has taken CloLight and Noctlight off the Final Fantasy page, twice, and I'm worried that they might do it again just because they are Final Fantasy crossover ships. So maybe you could talk to the guy, even those I have already left the I-G-T a message or place the page under protection for a time?
I have been meaning to make those pages, but haven't found the right time to make them or the words to put in them. So they wouldn't remain as stubs for too long.
