MichiMary is the femslash ship between Mary and Michiko from the Identity V fandom.

Canon

Mary and Michiko are both hunters. In terms of appearance, they look quite similar. Mary wears a red dress, just like Michiko wears a red kimono. They also have matching aesthetics, as Mary has white hair in her default costume, and Michiko has black hair. The rest of their costumes also match well, such as Last Dance and Manchurian Crane. Mary and Michiko both have crossover costumes, Mary's being an S Tier, and Michiko's being an A tier. Both of them receive plenty of unable to get costumes, only shown in promotional contents or collabs, such as Sanrio Crossover (Merry Kuromi is a Limited A-Tier Costume for Mary, it could be bought during limited period of time) and Michiko (unobtainable, only being shown in promotional art).

While their appearances are similar, they don't like many of the same times. Michiko dislikes mirrors, which Mary use's to eliminate survivors. However, Mary likes dancing, which Michiko does often. There is a Mary pet, and a Michiko pet, which survivors can use in battle. Mary and Michiko are commonly used hunters in Quick Match, and Rank. In Rank, they're also commonly banned.

Fanon

This ship is a popular ship within the Identity V fandom. On AO3, they have 116 fanfics created as of now. Because of this, This is one of Mary and Michiko's most popular ships. This ship rivals Josmary, being another of Mary's most popular ships. Mary and Michiko are shipped for various reasons, like the ones mentioned above.

In the Identity V online chats, players often ask for somebody to play as Mary or Michiko with them in Duos, as the person who asked play as the other character, either Michiko or Mary. Many times, they also go friendly in Duos playing as Mary and Michiko. In duos, sometimes, some players may switch to Mary (or Michiko) if they see the other hunter playing Michiko (or, once again Mary) to match with them. This is similar to Adamil, as survivors do the same often.
