Mihyo is the slash ship between Scorpio Milo and Cygnus Hyōga from the Saint Seiya fandom.
Canon[]
Hyoga and Milo meet for the first time in the Sanctuary Arc. After being sent to the Libra temple from the Gemini temple via Another Dimension, Hyoga meets his teacher, Camus, who is the Aquarius gold saint. After a battle, he traps Hyoga in an Ice Coffin, planning to keep him there in the libra temple. However, he is later rescued by his friends, even though he was unconscious and on the verge of death. While Seiya and Shiryu carry on walking to face the Scorpio saint in the next temple, Andromeda stays behind and revives Hyoga with his cosmos.
Seiya and Shiryu meet Milo in the Scorpio temple, and try to fight him, but Milo, using his attack "Restriction" which creates waves that paralyze his opponents and make their brains vulnerable to the fear of dying. Shiryu attacks anyway, but the Rising Dragon rebounds on Milo's hands and hits him back instead. Seiya tries, but only manages to scratch him a little before being thrown against a pillar. As they get up again, Milo uses Scarlet Needle on them, and when he is about to put them out of their mysery, Hyoga arrives, carrying an unconscious Shun in his arms.
Milo is shocked to see Hyoga alive, as he was aware Camus trapped him in an Ice Coffin, and no one ever can come out of it. Milo wonders how that could be possible. Hyoga explains that Shun gave his cosmos to nurse him back to health and that he also unfroze his heart. He berates Seiya and Shiryu for being on the floor and tells them to stand up and carry on to the Pope's chambers. Milo is in shock to see such example of determination. Still, he smirks and tells Hyoga that reaching the Pope's chambers is nothing but a pipe dream and a childish way of thinking. He then uses "Restriction" against Hyoga. Seiya and Shiryu recognize the attack and get worried, but Restriction doesn't work in Hyoga.
Hyoga calls Milo's name, and tells him that he's equalling dreams to the impossible, and that only idiots believe that dreams are impossible, as when you fight for a dream with all your might, it becomes real. Milo is pissed off to be lectured like this, and smirks as Hyoga uses an ice attack on him, believeing it's not even worth it to try and avoid it. However, Milo is shocked to see that he's paralyzed by a series of ice rings restricting his body. While he's paralyzed, Hyoga asks Shiryu and Seiya to carry Shun to the next temple, promising them he'll reunite with them once he defeats Milo.
By the time Milo breaks free from the ice rings, Seiya, Shiryu and Shun are gone. He tells Hyoga he is naïve for believeing he could contain him with such a puny technique. Hyoga said he only had wanted to stop him until his friends were safe out of the Scorpio temple. Milo understands that Hyoga wants to fight one to one, with no one intervening in their fight, so he replies he won't hold back.
They both prepare to fight, but Milo gets impatient at Hyoga not wanting to attack first and says he'll do it. He tells him, he has been lucky to be able to reach the scorpio temple, but his luck is over. Milo uses restriction once more and is shocked to find out it has no effect in Hyoga, as the cold wind moving around him is protecting him. He assumes, he learned that technique from Camus, also known as the wizard of ice and water. As Restriction cannot penetrate the cold wind, he decides to use Scarlet Needle. Hyoga counterattacks with Diamond Dust and is able to divert the sting and freeze Milo's body, even if for only a few seconds.
Milo announces that Hyoga is going to die, and uses Scarlet Needle again before Hyoga can prepare a second attack. Milo keeps using Scarlet Needle to sting Hyoga with the scorpion's poison. As Hyoga lies on the floor unable to get up, Milo explains that Scarlet Needle attacks the nervous system and paralyzes his victim's body with an intense, unbearable pain. He says, Scarlet Needle is slow acting, and doesn't kill its victims straight away. He gives Hyoga the chance to surrender and live, or carry on fighting and die, explaining that he is going to sting him fifteen times, and in the meantime he can decide if he wants to surrender or not. The fifteen stings of scarlet needle represent the fifteen stars of the Scorpio constellation and with the last one, Antares, the victim dies.
As he keeps stinging him, Milo says that none of his victims has ever lived to receive fifteen stings and that they always die by the fifth or sixth one, or start begging for mercy. Still, Hyoga stands up, shocking Milo, and says he's not like the rest, and that he's already chosen and will fight until the end. As he prepares to use Diamond Dust once more, Hyoga says that as long as he is alive, he is going to fight. They clash again, Hyoga receiving three more stings. Even though Hyoga said he won't surrender, Milo asks again if he wants to give up or he wants to die. Lying on the floor, Hyoga retorts that he won't choose any of those options. As he receives the twelfth Scarlet Needle, he falls again and Milo says that his fighting spirit is admiring and that no one has ever made him use Antares before. Antares is the brightest star of the Scorpio constellation, the killing blow of Scarlet Needle. Even after receiving fourteen stings, Hyoga is able to freeze Milo's feet and uses Aurora Attack, sending Milo flying.
Milo's helmet falls and rolls to Hyoga's feet. When Milo reappears, he reminds Hyoga he's too weak to hit back and that all fourteen wounds in his body are bleeding nonstop. Hyoga is slowly losing his senses as Milo approaches him. Even when he's weakening by the second, Hyoga tries to hit Milo, but he easily hits back, making him lose his cygnus helmet.
Still reluctant to kill him, Milo tells Hyoga if he doesn't undestand Camus feelings. Milo says the reason Camus went all the way to the Libra temple to trap him in the Ice Coffin, was because Camus wanted to test his determination. After testing him, disappointed at Hyoga's nostalgic and sentimental nature getting in the way of reaching the Seventh Sense, he trapped him in the ice. Camus wanted to avoid Hyoga dying shamefully at the hands of some gold saint. Because of his friendship with Camus, Milo tells Hyoga he has decided to spare him. He tells him to go home and that the poison will make him sleep for hundreds of years.
Hyoga refuses to back down. Milo wonders if he's lost his mind yet because of the poison. Hyoga says that there is no point in him surviving when his friends keep fighting. That once he wished not to have been born at all, but now he thanks God for allowing him to exist at the same time as his friends. Hyoga keeps attacking, but none of his blows is able to touch Milo. After seeing this display of determination, Milo communicates with Camus, and says it'd be an insult to Hyoga to be merciful to him and that he'll fight with him until the end, as now he sees him as a saint worthy of respect.
The Scorpio flame in the Zodiac clock disappears. Milo urges Hyoga to stand up. Hyoga mumbles to himself, remembering how his friends fought to save him, and how his mother's memory will always be with him. He manages to stand up, and tells Milo that if he dies in Scorpio, his friends will carry on fighting. As they face each other again, Milo sinks a finger in Hyoga's abdomen. He falls on top of a puddle of his own blood.
As Milo is congratulating him for receiving the fifteen stings of Scarlet Needle, he noticed that Hyoga has hit all his vital points, marked in his body as the form of the Scorpio constellation. Milo realizes, that Hyoga must have reached the Seventh Sense and that even though he's survived the fight, he's lost.
Noticing that Hyoga is still alive, and that he's trying to crawl all the way to the top of the mountain, Milo starts wondering whether Saori Kido is actually Athena. He runs to Hyoga and craddles him in his arms. He's moved, almost to tears. He reabsorbs the poison in Hyoga's body and closes his wounds. Getting up once more, Hyoga leaves the Scorpio temple, limping as Milo muses about the trials still ahead.
Fanon[]
Mihyo is always been a rare pairing, as both characters are shipped with other juggernaut ships in the fandom. However, in the last years, the popularity of the ship has been rising.
