MikaYumi is the femslash ship between Mikasa Ackerman and Ymir from the Attack on Titan fandom.
Canon[]
Their interactions stay minor, but there is a strong possibility that the two have met before, due to having graduated from the same division. An example of the high chances that the two have met, was when Mikasa described Krista as 'the girl who's always around Ymir'. When the Scout Regiment saves Connie, Historia, Reiner and Bertolt, Mikasa watches as Ymir gets cradled by Historia, who tells her her true name. She is greatly shocked to see that she can also turn into a Titan. Arriving back at Wall Rose, both Reiner and Bertolt transform into their Titans, capturing Eren and Ymir, but Mikasa seems to plant her focus onto Eren.
After Erwin and Hange form a plan to rescue them, they take the horses. There, a scream can be heard from the forest, and Mikasa, Connie, Jean, Sasha, Hannes and other members of the Military go to investigate. Ymir takes Historia with her, and Mikasa is in shock, then getting onto her horse, where she chases after them. Mikasa swears that she'll get Eren back, and even if it means killing Ymir. Arriving at Reiner's place, Mikasa directs herself to Reiner's nape, only to be stopped by Ymir. Mikasa, angered, says that she does indeed have to kill Ymir first, slicing her eye open. Ymir screams and attempts to kill Mikasa herself, only to be stopped by Historia. Historia tries to explain to Mikasa that Ymir doesn't have a choice, but Mikasa says that Historia has to choose; Eren or Ymir, then claiming that she'll kill anything that gets in her way. Historia says that there can be another option, so Mikasa stops her attempt to kill Ymir and instead goes for Reiner and Bertolt.
After Hange and Mikasa defeat Reiner, while taking Shiganshina back, Reiner mentions Ymir's letter to Historia, where Mikasa listens.
In 854, Porco's Jaw Titan is now against them. There, Mikasa says how different Porco's Titan is compared to Ymir's.
Fanon[]
While a few fans ship this, the Attack on Titan fandom usually like their dynamic, due the two being the most loved AOT women (on average). It is extremely unpopular for the two, but fans who are fans of rarepairs such as HitchKuri, ReiJean, YumiSasha and such, often pair them together. A side of the community sees them as a more platonic ship, while others appear to prefer their relationship as a romance.
This ship rivals MikAnnie and YumiHisu as femslash ships, and it rivals EreMika overall for Mikasa.
A few fans appear to sometimes pit them against each other; usually fighting to see who's writing is overall better. This made another side of fans confused, as their interactions somehow 'do not count' as actual ones, and the only time they have met on-screen was when Mikasa tried to kill her. While they have a few meetings, and Ymir has been mentiones by her a few times, the fanbase ignore these and instead focus on what they would be like if they had more time to talk, and overall how good of a ship it's considered.
