TOUCH AND GO
Splinter comes over to tell Mikey that the two of them will inspect the tunnels to see if they've been damaged in the alien attacks. Mikey reluctantly goes, and Splinter says it's a good time to focus on his training. As he wants to see Mikey establish a connection between his mind and body, no matter how feeble.
They search through the tunnels, finding many of them damaged. Mikey wants to go home, but Splinter tells him to focus on the task at hand. He says that Mikey is naturally gifted for martial arts, but his mind is undisciplined and unruly. Mikey says that's what he as a teenager is supposed to be like, but Splinter reminds him that he's also a ninja and needs to use his mind more. They reach a dead a block and Splinter says that they will have to surface for a shot while. Mikey cheers excitedly, but Splinter emphasizes that it will be for a very short distance.
They reach the surface and get to the next entrance, when Splinter pauses. Mikey asks what's going on Splinter says that someone is following them. He says that they need to get underground quick and Mikey does so, Splinter close behind. Once down, Mikey complains about being hungry but Splinter tells him to focus. Mikey says that focusing makes him hungry, when a mysterious blur rushes in front of them. Splinter stands between Mikey and the attacker, and the two start to fight. Mikey is thrown into a barrier, and Splinter quickly rushes to his side helping him up. He realizes that the sewer tunnel is breaking and uses it put distance between them and their attackers. Mikey asks what all of that was about, but Splinter quiets him when he hears that they are breaking through. Mikey asks if these guys are terminators, and Splinter says that they need to go. He struggles to get up and Mikey helps him walk as they escape.
Mikey asks how they're meant to fight Toch and Go with their speed and strength, but Splinter says that if he focuses his mind an opportunity will present itself. Mikey says that there won't be enough time for his brain to kick in when Touch and Go appear before them. They have to fight, when Mikey gets stuck and asks for some help. Splinter does so, throwing their adversaries across the room. Mikey asks if they won, only to be exasperated when Touch and Go get up again.
Mikey realizes that the two get their powers from touching each other, and says that he has an idea. Splinter says that this is no time for jokes, and Mikey says that he does actually have a plan. Splinter is glad that Mikey's using his head, but has some reservations. Mikey just tells him to follow his lead, and the two start to fight again. They fake that they got run over by the train and follow Touch and Go to their employer, Hun. Mikey then takes both them and Hun out, gladly taking the money that they were going to be paid. The police arrive and Splinter says that it's not longer safe for them there. Mikey excitedly tells Splinter all the ideas he had for what to do about the two, and Splinter says it's a brave new world for Mikey using his mind more.
