Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)[]
Peter Parker, as Spider-Man, webs Aaron to a car and interrogates him about who is selling the weapons he is buying. Aaron admits that he has a nephew who lives in the neighborhood, so he doesn't want the weapons to be near. After Peter leaves, he refuses to undo the webs on Aaron that will dissolve in two hours, which Aaron protests against since he has ice cream in the car.
In a deleted scene, Aaron is unable to free himself from the webs, so he makes a phone call and says:
- Yeah, sorry, Miles. I'm not gonna make it. Yeah, I'm just uh—
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)[]
Miles is close with his uncle, and Miles' father, Jeff, even says that Miles has a soft spot for Aaron. When Miles' father says that Miles doesn't want to end up like Aaron, Miles defends him under his breath and says he's a good guy.

Aaron teaching Miles the shoulder touch.
After Miles is assigned a personal essay he doesn't want to do, he sneaks out to see his uncle. He sends Aaron a picture of himself from outside his window. When Aaron looks over to him, Miles, laughing and pressing his face against the window, asks if he was scared. Inside, Aaron talks to Miles about his new school, and Miles brings up the new girl that he met. Aaron teaches Miles the shoulder touch, and after Miles fails multiple times to do it, Aaron asks if Miles is really his nephew.
Miles gets a text from his dad and figures he should go back and do his essay. Aaron sees the text and changes the subject to Miles' drawings, and he says he knows a place where Miles can throw them up. Miles says that he can't go, but he ends up going with Aaron anyway. Aaron briskly climbs a fence which Miles struggles to climb, and Aaron laughs and says he knew Miles was related to him. Miles begins to spray paint, and his uncle gives him tips for how to do things. Later, Aaron traces Miles' silhouette on top of the painting. Miles is embarrassed, but he smiles after Aaron says he sees exactly what Miles is trying to do with the painting. Aaron tells Miles about how he and Miles' dad used to spray paint before Jeff became a cop. After Aaron gets a text, and the two leave after Aaron says he has to go. Unbeknownst to Aaron, Miles is bitten by a radioactive spider and given spider powers.
Miles tries out the shoulder touch, but it goes horribly wrong due to his spider powers. A distressed Miles calls his uncle, only to be met with a voicemail saying Aaron will be out of town for a few days. Miles searches for answers in the place he and his uncle painted, and Miles walks in on Spider-Man fighting villains, one of them being the Prowler, in Kingpin's supercollider chamber. After Spider-Man is severely injured, Miles hides and witnesses Kingpin kill Spider-Man. Miles runs away with the Prowler chasing after him with the intent to kill, but Miles escapes.
Miles meets the Spider-Gang consisting of Spider-People from other universes, but he is unable to prove himself worthy of helping them. Miles runs away to Aaron's apartment and writes a note admitting how lost and scared he is and that Aaron is the only one Miles can talk to. The Prowler enters the apartment, and a terrified Miles hides and witnesses the Prowler take off his mask. The Prowler is Aaron. Miles is shocked and even more terrified, so he runs away. Aaron puts on his mask and chases after Miles. Miles gets away again, but Aaron follows him from the rooftops.

Miles reveals himself to Aaron.
Miles runs to Aunt May's house where multiple villains are waiting. The Spider-Gang fights the villains, and the Prowler enters and chases after Miles. Miles is able to get to the roof, but the Prowler traps him at the edge of the roof. Miles, with nowhere to run, pulls up his Spider-Man mask, and Aaron pulls up his mask as well. Aaron steps away from Miles with his hands up. He smiles at Miles before being shot by Kingpin. Miles swings away with Aaron and brings him to a dark alleyway.
Kneeling over his uncle, Miles believes that the situation is his own fault. Aaron assures him that it's not, and he admits that he wanted Miles to look up to him. Aaron says that he let Miles down, and he tells Miles to keep going. Aaron dies, and Miles has to leave after his father walks into the alley.
Grief-stricken, Miles destroys his room with rage, and he finds his sketchbook open to the page with the artwork he painted with Aaron. Miles throws the sketchbook out of his window only to have it thrown back at him. The Spider-Gang enters his room and tries to empathize with him by sharing their own experiences with loss.
During Miles' leap of faith to become Spider-Man, he remembers his uncle's words along with his mother's and father's. Later, Miles joins the fight to shut off Kingpin's supercollider. When Miles swings to the roof, he thwips onto a record player that presumably belongs to an Aaron Davis, showing how Aaron's guidance helped Miles to become a great Spider-Man.
After the other Spider-People are sent home and Kingpin is taken down, Miles and Jeff paint a tribute to Aaron.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)[]
When Miles sees all of the imprisoned villains, he gets excited at the name Prowler only to see that it's the Prowler from Earth-199999. Miles and Aaron say hey to each other, and Aaron tells Miles that it's rude to stare after Miles continues to stare at him.

Earth-1610B Miles meeting Earth-42 Aaron
Much later on, Miles is transported to Earth-42 since his spider's DNA is from that universe. As Miles realizes he is in the wrong universe, Aaron walks through the door, leaving a shocked Miles that recognizes him as the Prowler. Aaron holds his hand out to Miles, and Aaron asks if Miles is okay after he doesn't shake his hand. Miles grabs Aaron's hand before pulling him into a hug and saying how much he missed him. Aaron reciprocates the hug for a second before pulling away and noticing that Miles took his braids out on purpose. Miles follows Aaron up to the roof while he talks about a plan that Miles has no knowledge of. As Miles is realizing his father is dead in this universe, Aaron looks at his phone, likely getting a text from Earth-42's Miles, before suspiciously looking over to Miles.
Miles is knocked out by the Prowler and tied to Aaron's punching bag. After waking up, Miles tries to explain that he's from another dimension, but Aaron only gently spins the punching bag and wordlessly turns on his record player. Aaron puts on the Prowler's glove, and Miles explains what happened to Aaron in his universe. Miles says that he knows Aaron doesn't want to be the Prowler, but Aaron punches the bag Miles is tied to and says he isn't the Prowler. Aaron tosses the glove to Earth-42's Prowler, who reveals himself to be Miles G. Morales.
