Elliot’s Club Crisis[]
Elliot was about to make an announcement to the class about the school's gardening club, however he struggles to mutter out the words out loud. Suddenly Milly bursts into the classroom and Mrs. Cherry orders her to step outside the class as she was late. They first meet when Elliot is practicing his communicating skills but struggles a lot to do so, causing him to overthink. Daisy walks in and brings Milly with her to the Gardening Club for her to do some activities there as a punishment, requested by Mrs. Cherry. Elliot thinks Milly doesn’t want to be there based on her annoyed expression. Milly asks him what she should do. Elliot tasks her to water the plants in the greenhouse, except the orchid flowers, explaining to her that too much water is bad for them.
As Elliot was talking to his plants, Milly asks if he was talking to them. Elliot stutters in embarrassment, but Milly says she actually finds it cute. She tells him she finished watering the plants. Elliot gently orders her to water the plants near him too and she obliges. She even compliments that the flowers are actually pretty to look at. Elliot and Milly start to talk about the gardening club. Milly felt bad that Elliot is the only member, but Elliot says that he doesn't mind it. He said he would even want to live in the dirt with the plants if he was small enough. He profusely apologizes for saying something weird as he isn't very good at talking with with people at school. Milly thnks it's fine and tells him to stop saying sorry. He says sorry again but quickly covers his mouth when he realizes. She doesn't want him not acting on edge around her, despite her being known as "the pink-haired devil". She says that she isn't very good with people too and that she wouldn't have any friends if it wasn't for the music club. She offers to help Elliot find members for the gardening club and he accepts. Milly asks if Elliot has a poster for the club. He shows it to her but they both agree that it's pretty bad. Elliot feels useless that he can't do art or even do a class announcement that morning. Milly realizes she came in to class when when it happened and apologizes that she interrupted him. Elliot realizes he was rambling and was gonna apologize, but Milly tells him to shut up and encourages him to not give up.
In the music club room, Milly is thinking of ways on how to find members for the gardening club. Meanwhile, Elliot walks in a classroom where he sat with two other students. Suddenly, Milly joins in and she tells Elliot that she has the perfect campaign idea for his club without him needing to speak directly to a human required, with her friend Sean helping them. The two students sitting with them, twins Faye and Dominic, took interest in their conversation about the gardening club. Milly gives Elliot a push to start explaining about the club to them. In the middle of the conversation, the twins began arguing. Milly asks Elliot if he wants her to scare them away if they're too much, but he denies. Milly demands the twins to stop arguing and listen to what Elliot has to say. After class, Milly joins Elliot to go to the gardens with him. She says that they should start going over ideas for the club advertisement shooting tomorrow.
Fight or Flight[]
Milly and Elliot, with the help of Sean, begin shooting of the gardening club advertisement. Milly encourages Elliot saying he’s got this, calling him “Elli”. Elliot reads the script presumably held by Milly, saying “green gang”. Sean laughs but Milly thinks it’s badass. At night, Elliot is confidently practicing in front of a mirror for when people want to join the gardening club. His phone rings and he picks it up. Milly is on the other end. She tells him that the video has been posted to the school’s GachaBook page. Elliot thinks it’s amazing and thanks Milly and Sean for their help. Milly thinks it’s the thousandth time he’s thanked her. Elliot says he’s just really grateful that the club isn’t doomed. Elliot is thinking of telling to people about the club another shot, like doing another class announcement. Milly gets excited and she promises she won’t interrupt him this time. Milly has to go to bed after being nagged by her dad. Elliot has no problem with it and thanks her for calling. They both say their good nights to each other.
The next morning, Elliot wakes up to the video receiving comments. One of which is a positive comment from Milly. But his face quickly turns in shock after seeing the rest of the comments being negative and calling the video cringe. He goes to school thinking that Milly feels embarrassed and wants to apologize to her. He finds Milly about to pick a fight against the bullies who left the negative comments. Elliot seeing this wants to doesn’t want Milly to get in trouble, but begins to worry what might happen if he gets involved in the fight. He has flashbacks of moments when Milly helped him. Milly was about to throw a punch at Brad, but Elliot intervenes between the two and questions himself what he was doing. He doesn’t want Milly to fight, but Milly argues that the bullies had insulted them and won’t let it slide. He still prevents her from getting in trouble. He tells the bullies that he was just trying his best and that he doesn’t want them to tread on the club. The bullies call him a freak and continue to insult him. Milly insults them back. Faye and Dominic joins Milly and Elliot, defending their video. Mrs. Cherry comes to see what was happening and notices Milly. She thinks that she was causing trouble again, but Elliot defends her saying that she didn’t hurt anyone. After everyone went to their homerooms, Elliot suddenly passes out.
He wakes up to Milly saying she scared him. Elliot is given a glass of water by the nurse and she asks how he was feeling. He realizes what he did earlier and in embarrassment, wants to die. Milly says that he’s back to normal now. Milly asks if he was okay and says he is. He’s just never put himself in the middle of a fight before. Elliot apologizes and blames himself that he got Milly involved with the club advertising that that happened. Milly says that he doesn’t need to apologize. She blames herself because she was the one that chose violence. If he hadn’t stopped her, she’d be in much bigger trouble. She thanks him and calls him cool for what he did out there. Faye, Dominic, and shockingly Bradley show up and they want to become members of the club. Milly and Elliot realizes that the gardening club is now qualified with 3 other members and they both hold hands jumping in excitement. The scene slows down showing as Elliot smiles at Milly with sparkling backgrounds behind them both.
Milly and the rest of the music club are about to head in the club’s room. Elliot is waiting for her outside the room and asks if she has a second. Milly tells the club she’ll be there in a sec. Elliot seems to be hiding something behind his back and Milly is curious on what it is. Elliot shows the gift he wanted to give her. A pink cactus flower, which the looks reminded Elliot of Milly. He explains that cacti are known to be tough and have tons of spikes, but with the pretty pink flowers, there’s much more to it than just it’s prickles. He finds them very beautiful. When Milly receives the cactus, her eyes widen and then she blushes, making her face full red. Elliot worries that Milly hates the plant, but Milly says she loves it and thanks him. Elliot says it isn’t that much compared what she’s done for him. He says goodbye and that he’ll see her in class. Milly, still blushing, says cya in a nervous tone.
Pink-Haired Devil[]
After finding her diary, Milly was relieved that nobody in the school found out who her crush was, who she wrote inside the book. Elliot walks up to Milly and her face turns full pink, which Jake took notice. Elliot brings her the news that the orchids have started to bloom and asks her to come see it sometimes. Milly says okay while stuttering a little. After Elliot leaves, Jake shouts in suprise to find out that he was Milly's crush.

Milliot started to gain several fans after Episode 3, Pink-Haired Devil, despite Elliot only having 3 speaking lines at the time, which were just him talking to Milly in the episode. After the The Music Freaks spin-off was released, the ship started to gain even popularity and appreciation. Fans love dynamic between the two and their strong bond despite being opposites. There are several fanarts, edits, and fan videos of the ship. There are currently 90 written works on AO3, with the ship being both Milly's and Elliot's most written ship.
