Milort is the slash ship between Milo Murphy and Mort Schaeffer in the Milo Murphy's Law fandom.

Canon

Overview

Milo and Mort are on good terms with each other, thanks to Mort being one of the few people who doesn't avoid Milo like the plague. Mort is an individual who rejects the general notion about Murphy's Law and disregards most of the bad things that happen in Milo's presence. He tends to justify the chaos that happens around Milo as a result of his own blocked chakra, rather than anything on Milo's behalf. this allows Mort to be a lot more tolerant of whatever goes wrong when Milo's around. Mort also works as the drummer for Milo's band, "Just Getting Started".

Season 1

Going the Extra Milo

Mort bet his cheese sticks that Milo and Zack wouldn't make it to school on time.

Sunny Side Up

Mort was one of the many students who slinked down behind their tables, to avoid being partnered up with Milo for the egg-drop contest.

Rooting for the Enemy

Mort invited Milo to watch his team play the football game, saying that because they were going to lose anyway, there's no way Milo could ruin it. Mort slipped and fell down the hill, landing in some water and Milo apologized for it, claiming that this was the result of Murphy's Law. However, Mort denied this and believed that this actually happened thanks to his own blocked chakra. Mort was later tackled on the football field but still stood by the belief that this bad luck came from his blocked chakra. Mort later joined the rest of The Geckos in celebrating Milo for helping them win against The Tigers and they even visited him in the hospital as a way of saying thank you.

The Undergrounders

Mort was the only person who was more interesting in what Bradley was saying instead of what hijinks Milo was getting himself into.

Party of Peril

Melissa invited Mort to Milo's surprise party and Mort agreed, just as long as he knew the paramedics would be there. This ended up being a necessity as during the go-kart race at Milo's party, a screw popped loose on Milo's go-kart and got in Mort's way, one of the wheels off of his go-kart, making him crash into the safety netting.

Athledecamathalon

Mort tried to explain what he thought an "Athledecamathelon" was to Milo, but ended up being just as mind-blown as he was. Milo told Mort that Abraham Lincoln was good at math and sports. Mort cheered on Milo as he navigated the Athledecamathalon and circumvented all of the unforeseen obstacles in his path. Milo made a speech to his team about the Athledecamathalon, which Mort was kind of zoned out for most of, not being able to follow any of it. However, since Milo looked confident, Mort cheered him on and supported whatever cause he was standing for.

School Dance

Milo and Mort both played in the band, "Just Getting Started", as musical entertainment for the Niagara Falls Fling school dance, with Milo on accordion and Mort on drums. This is the first time they were shown as bandmates.

Battle of the Bands

Milo and Mort were seen as bandmates once again, this time, going to the battle of the bands. Mort wore a helmet to protect himself from Murphy's Law as he helped Milo set up the caution signs and chain links around the stage to protect their band from Murphy's Law. Because Mort was so nervous about things going wrong during his performance, he got the hiccups. However, he claimed that this was because of stage fright, again, rejecting any blame toward Murphy's Law.

The Llama Incident

Mort worked with an excavator and dropped a bunch of flesh-colored bags of red fruit punch near Milo, Zack, and Melissa, nearly hitting them.

Disaster of My Dreams

Milo walked by and his Murphy's Law inadvertently caused Mort to trip over a floor tile and land in the garbage can. Mort didn't blame Milo for this, thinking it was just because of his blocked chakra. Mort later rehearsed music with Milo and the rest of their band.

Some Like it Yacht

Milo saw all the delicious food that was set out for them on the yacht buffet and didn't know where to begin. Mort told him that he'll be eating through all this food alphabetically.

Milo Murphy's Halloween Scream-A-Torium

Milo's Scream-A-Torium dropped from the skies above and crash landed right in front of Chad and Mort. Milo greeted his friends and Mort complimented Milo for his "cosmic entrance".

A Christmas Peril

Mort sat next to Milo at the impromptu Christmas dinner at the Chinese restaurant.
