MinaLiz is the het ship between Makoto Yuki and Elizabeth from the Persona fandom.

Makoto will officially meet Elizabeth, whom Igor introduced in the Velvet Room, on April 8.

Elizabeth’s first date with Makoto was visiting the Paulownia Mall. When Elizabeth is disappointed that the nightclub she wants to go to is closed during the daytime, Makoto can choose “Karaoke” or “The Arcade. " If the second option, she will express a great interest in singing as she wants to show off her hidden talents to him. On their second date, he takes Elizabeth to Iwatodai Station. When they eat takoyaki, he can ask her if her cheeks are okay (even though it is a metaphor), and she says they are OK. Makoto introduces Elizabeth to many food places to go and eat there. However, he fell sick from eating too much and stopped his seventh meal. After a while, Elizabeth felt fine and showed no ill effects. Makoto takes Elizabeth to the shrine on their third date to hang out. He mainly watches Elizabeth’s actions by having fun around the playground and donating excessive coins in the box in the shrine.
On their fourth date, when the students start staring at her, Elizabeth will be behind Makoto to become less conspicuous in either option. He took her to various locations there, such as his classroom, art room, music room, where she sang the ‘Velvet Song” to him, and sports field. After her date with him, she doesn’t entirely understand her motives for coming here. She is unable to understand this new feeling for some reason. She thinks she wants to learn more about him at school and feels fulfilled.
He takes her to the dorm and his room on their final date. She asks him if it is uncomfortable, and he can choose to say a little. She feels a bit sad as there’s something she’d like to talk to him about. She will confess she wants to learn more about him. She wants to feel what he feels and truly experience his life for the first time. She requested him to “guide her through it,” and if he accepted her offer, it would result in them having implied sex. However, she can’t be with him since she cannot abandon her duty in the Velvet Room, so she breaks their relationship. At the end of their date, Elizabeth asks him to keep this a secret from Igor. The parting words to him are that she is willing to stay by his side, no matter what heights he reach, and she will overcome any ordeal that may stand in the way of her goals. That is what she believes before she thanks him for everything.
Film[]
Like Yukari, Elizabeth’s relationship with Makoto is platonic, as he doesn’t seem interested in her. In the final film, Makoto takes Elizabeth to the real world to hang out because his friends have fallen into a deep depression about the upcoming of Nyx. When Makoto has dark thoughts of killing Ryoji, Elizabeth manages to snap Makoto back to reality by slapping him in the face. Because of her, Makoto returns to his senses and decides wisely. On January 31st, when Makoto heads to the top of Tartarus, she assists him. Elizabeth grants Orpheus the Megidolaon spell to defeat the Reaper, impeding Makoto's path to the top of Tartarus.
Weird Masquerade[]
In the stage play version, his relationship with Elizabeth is toned down and less focused in Act 3. In the following arc, her voice is heard through his cell phone.

- After defeating Margaret in an optional boss fight, she reveals her sister Elizabeth left the Velvet Room to find a way to free “The Blue-Hair” boy from his fate as the Great Seal.
Persona 4 Arena[]
- Elizabeth somehow inherits Makoto’s second Persona, Thanatos, and becomes her Persona.
- She has defeated Erebus once a year to protect Makoto. She is currently searching for a way to defeat Erebus for good and free his soul.
Persona Q[]
- Elizabeth will be Makoto's destined partner if the player chooses the correct answers to Elizabeth's preferences in the second dungeon, Group Date Cafe dungeon. She will express happiness to be his partner. She is described as being in a fairy tale.

Fanon[]
MinaLiz comes from the combination of Minato Arisato (his manga name before is official name was announced in the film adaption) and ELizabeth. MinaLiz is one of the well-known liked fanshipping. Many fans think this is the third possible canon ship after AiKoto and Minayuka. MakoLiz has increased in the manga, film, Persona 3 spin-off series, Persona 4 spin-off series, and Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night. In the upcoming second remake of Persona 3, many fans theorized that Elizabeth has created a nearly identical timeline to the original one to find a way to save Makoto before he performs the Great Seal.
