Mina Ashido is a character from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Character[]
Mina is a U.A student with a bright smile and almost alien appearance. She is incredibly dim-witted, but for what she lacks in smarts, she makes up for in compassion in which she demonstrated back in middle school with Eijiro Kirishima.
She has a tendency to wrap herself up in the romantic encounters of others, such as Ochako’s infamous crush on Izuku, although she hasn’t been able to fall in love herself as of late. Mina was quick to befriend the majority of her classmates, even able to somewhat “charm” the ever-angry Katsuki to the point where she could be considered a friend of his, and a member of the “BakuSquad” (Katsuki, Eijiro, Denki, Mina, Hanta, Kyoka).
She has a love for dancing and even uncompensated some of her moves into her unique fighting style!

Trivia[]
- Her current hero name is “Pinky”, although she originally hoped to be “Alien Queen”, like the horror-movie creature.
- Her pink coloration is said to be the effect of her Acid quirk, although the reasoning for her horns and dark eyes is unknown.
- She is the second tallest girl in the class at 5”3, second only to Momo.
- She appears to become clingy when scared, gripping onto her female friends when disaster strikes.
- Her quirk is compared to Masaru Bakugou’s (Katsuki’s father) in his omake page, as the detonable liquid his palms secrete “does not gush out” in the way hers does.
- Mina’s birthday is 7/30 (July 30). Additionally, it is very close, and lies in between Hanta’s (7/28) and Kyoka’s (8/1) birthdays.
- The clothing Mina wears implies that she’s fond of brightly colored and patterned clothing. This is also visible with the bodysuit of her hero costume.
- Her favorite food is listed to be natto, and her favorite thing to be dancing.
- In the English dub of the anime, her lines are often switched to be reminiscent of English slang.
- Her original design was far more lanky, with long, curled horns, pink cheeks like Ochako, and a smile reminiscent of Hanta’s. The horns were eliminated for being too complex.
