Minka is the femlash ship between Mindy Meeks Martin and Anika Kayoko from the Scream fandom.

Following the aftermath of the 2022 Legacy Killings, Mindy alongside her brother and friends decide to enrol at Blackmore University in New York after graduating high school as a way to put their trauma behind them. There, she meets Anika Kayoko, a fellow student and the two quickly form a romantic relationship, Anika promptly joins their friend group as a result, with the addition of Quinn, Sam and Tara's roommate and Ethan, Chad's roommate.
The film opens as the group are attending a Halloween Frat Party with Mindy and Anika being intimate on a sofa. After Tara, a member of the group is nearly taken advantage of while intoxicated, a fight soon entails with Mindy's brother Chad, and Tara's sister Sam stepping in to defend her. Sam is soon antagonised for this by others attending the party, as she was unjustly blamed for the Woodsboro murders, and the group is forced to leave. A new Ghostface killer soon emerges the same night, with someone in the friend group likely a perpetrator. The next morning they gather at campus, and Mindy suggests Anika could very well be a suspect, due to the established love interest trope, and Anika is shown saddened by this accusation.
They are then attacked by Ghostface that night at the apartment of Sam, Tara and Quinn with the exclusion of Ethan who claimed he had a class. Ghostface seemingly kills Quinn and Anika is greatly wounded after being stabbed. They barricade themselves in Quinn's bedroom, temporarily evading Ghostface. Sam's boyfriend living next door passes a ladder through his window to theirs, each member needing to crawl across while Ghostface is continually getting closer to breaking the door down. Mindy and Anika are the last two remaining, Anika eventually persuading Mindy to leave first saying she'll be right behind her. Soon Anika is the last one behind, with the group screaming for her to hurry. Anika slowly makes her way across the ladder, still suffering from blood loss, and Ghostface manages to burst his way into the room to Mindy and the groups horror. Anika breaks down into tears as Ghostface starts to shake the ladder eventually flipping it, causing Anika to lose balance and fall to her death. Mindy looks down in anguish, visibly destroyed from the loss of her love. Mindy still mourning the next day, spits at Ethan to stay away from her, saying he's now at the top of her list.

Minka quickly became one of the most popular ships of the Scream fandom after the film released, fans ecstatic that Mindy's sexuality and her romantic relationship with Anika was one of the main plot points of the movie, as the fifth film had very little time to delve into these aspects as it needed to develop and introduce an entirely new cast of characters while simultaneously reintroducing the legacy characters. People adored the lovable character of Anika and she quickly became another fan favourite amongst fans, also equally adoring the dynamic she had with Mindy and the chemistry Jasmin Savoy Brown had with Devyn Nekoda. Many were heartbroken by the sudden death of the beloved character, especially with the likely guilt racked upon Mindy after she showed hints mistrust in Anika.
On AO3, Minka is the most written ship for both Anika and Mindy. It is also the tenth most written ship in the Scream (Movies) tag. There are currently has 110+ works.
