Minoairi is the femslash ship between Minori Hanasato and Airi Momoi from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Minori and Airi are members of the idol group MORE MORE JUMP! as well as high school students at Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy; Minori is a first-year student, and Airi is a year older. Prior to the formation of their group, Airi was an ex-idol and member of the idol group QT, Minori was a total beginner, with only her persistent and endlessly optimistic nature keeping her moving forward, even after failing 50 auditions. Although Airi often appears to be strict towards Minori when it comes to idol training, as if she were a drill sergeant, she is in fact equally passionate about idols. Due to their hardworking natures, Airi is always happy seeing Minori evolve, and sometimes teases Minori when she swears she'll take on harder challenges.
The two meet for the first time in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Main Story Chapter 3. Haruka and Minori accidentally overhear Airi interrogating Shizuku on her current situation. After Airi spots the two and they talk to her, she become irritated by them and tells them to leave, but when Haruka mentions Minori was there first doing dance practice on her own, Airi asks why Minori is doing that. Minori admits she's practicing to become an idol and says how it's her dream. Airi questions her, asking where she's going to audition next, and upon hearing the agency she's aiming for, Airi tells her "an amateur like her [Minori] would be lucky to even pass their initial screening". Minori stutters before Airi asks for her name and Minori introduces herself, along with the fact that she has auditioned around 50 times and only managed to pass the initial screening three times, but never managed to get any further. Airi scolds her for thinking she can just do it by working even harder, and suggests Minori just give up. Minori feels dejected, but Shizuku defends Minori, who then says she has faith in herself. Minori recites Haruka's catchphrase and reassures she will never give up no matter what her odds are. After Minori and the others get spooked by Miku appearing on Minori's phone, Airi is shocked to hear Minori ask her to help with practicing. Although Airi initially turns her down, Shizuku steps in and agrees to help Minori. Then she repeats the words Airi had told her in the past, causing her to mellow out. Airi agrees to help as well, but on the condition that she'll stop if Minori fails her next audition.
The next day, during their first practice, Airi challenges Minori to show her how she introduces herself after Minori assures she's got that part down. After that, Airi tells her she gives her a two out of a hundred, how she failed to give her a clue about what kind of a person she is, and how the catchphrase she came up with didn't make any sense. She advises Minori to show off her strong points and upon mentioning her variety show talents, Minori compliments how fun it was always to watch Airi on the screen. Minori tries pondering what her strong points are, and Airi points out her tenacity and suggests they skip the dance practice and hone Minori's self-introduction skills instead.
In the first side story of Airi's initial 3*, Minori compliments Airi's dancing and then asks what she thought of hers. Airi tells her she needs to still practice the fine details but that if she keeps it up she'll be ready for their new song. Then Airi asks why Minori seems so unsure of herself, and Minori tells her it's because they're performing on live TV for the first time so she can't afford to do any mistakes. Airi agrees with her point and how it's all or nothing for them, and then commands Minori to stop feeling nervous and instead think about the people who'll listen to their songs as that mindset would help her perform well. When Airi notices Shizuku and Haruka being quiet, Minori tells her they're also moved by Airi's advice and then enthusiastically asks Airi to share them more "idol secrets".
Time to RE:START![]
During the events of "Time to RE:START!", when everyone in MORE MORE JUMP! is standing outside the agency, Airi questions if Minori's okay, but Minori however states she's fine. Despite that, Airi and the others are able to tell she's nervous, so Airi, attempting to comfort her, says Minori's smile is her best quality while telling her to have confidence in herself. Once they enter the agency, after Minori isn't noticed by the clerk, Airi attempts to comfort her once again.
Quotes[]
- Airi – “Hey, look! There's a cat sunbathing over there! Aww, it's so cute...”
- Minori – “You're right! It has white and fluffy hair like Samo too. Wait, that reminds me! Aren't you allergic to cats, Airi? And what about dogs...?”
- Airi – “Huh? What are you talking about?”
- Minori – “I-I have a really big dog at home... If I go near you, your allergies might...”
- Airi – “You dummy. We've been doing stuff together for how long now...? Relax, my cat allergies aren't that bad. Dogs don't really bother me at all either, so being around their owners is totally fine.”
- Minori – “Really?! Thank goodness...”
- Airi – “Oh, you... But thanks for worrying about me, Minori.”

- Minori – “Really?! Thank goodness! That means I'm actually improving!”
- Airi – “Of course you are. Why don't you check out some videos of us practicing when we were just starting out? I'm sure it'll be like night and day.”
- Minori – “That much? I think I have them on my phone, so I'll make sure to take a look later!”
- Airi – “(I remember going through the same thing. I hope she doesn't feel too embarrassed about how she did things before like I did...)”

- Airi – “Is it time for Minori's salt-instead-of-sugar flan or Shizuku's flan that's really some other kind of egg dish to finally make an appearance?”
- Minori – “There's no way I'd do that!”
- Airi – “Haha. Relax, I'm kidding!”
- — The Moon Rabbit & Us Episode 3 "Theme: Fall"
- Minori – “Um... It's because your performance was so good, Airi-chan.”
- Airi – “This is about me?”
- Minori – “Yes! You shined and sparkled on stage at that elementary school... So I decided that I wanna do that too! But I'm not nearly as good as you are at singing and dancing... Even then, I need to become more independent and learn to perform on stage by myself. Me participating in this Fan Festival is a part of that! I want to get better!”
- — Scramble Fan Festival! Episode 2 "Let's Go Together!"

- Airi – “But if it's really my advice that helped you shine this much, Minori, then I couldn't be happier.”
- Minori – “Airi-chan...!”
- Airi – “Even so, Minori. It's not me who should be getting credit for this. I just gave you advice, but you're the one who took it on board and worked so hard for this result. So don't sell yourself short!”
- Minori – “Okay! Thank you so much, Airi-chan!”
- — "Chasing The Sparkle Beyond the Blue Sky" After Live
