Mitcheva is the het ship between Mitchell and Yeva from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Mitchell accidentally manages to pose himself as a doctor despite being an intern. When Nori Doorman, an infected Worker Drone, goes rogue under the control of the Solver he is ordered to retrieve Yeva for help. He rushes outside of the church and meets Yeva inside an isolated building. She's seen playing tetris in a locker she's chained in. She exchanged a weary glance at Mitchell for interrupting her.
He shows her ID card to her before shrugging. Yeva is immediately annoyed by her duty but comes along. The duo run together back to the church; Mitchell oddly tries to hold Yeva's hand before she irritably yanks it away. He is the first to enter the building, surprised to see everything already handled. Realizing that Yeva is not needed he closes the door behind him to shut her out without a word.
It's to his horror that the Solver set up a mere holographic scene as a trap. He nearly died from the attempted attack thrown by the Solver-possessed Nori. Luckily Yeva arrives to save him. He takes the opportunity to run once Nori is downed, signaling to Yeva in a way of thanking her. She watches him leave with a mildly annoyed expression.
After the core collapse, Mitchell ends up passing to the explosion that ended all organic life on Copper 9. Yeva dies some time afterwards to the arrival of the Disassembly Drones; in the safety of her home, she was murdered by Serial Designation V and supposedly had her heart core consumed to prevent her second chance of living.
Fanon[]
The Mitcheva ship is an oddly popular ship for both characters despite their practical non-existent relationship. The two come to be shipped supposedly after Mitchell's attempt at holding Yeva's hand that could symbolize a deeper connection between them. It's most likely this small clip came up as a joke. The "human x drone" ship notably began with Jessa, in which Serial Designation J, a drone, is shipped with human girl, Tessa Elliott. The dynamic between them likely popularized the idea and thus influenced Mitcheva to come into existence.
A large evolution of fanart between the two comes to spiral around various social media. They're often accompanied by the "SilentMask" tag. Many love the idea of Mitchell being the gentle giant to Yeva's Pint-Sized Powerhouse. They're often seen as a "girlboss x maleloser" ship for obvious reasons. Some fan content has Mitchell as a Worker Drone in specific AUs. In other cases, fanarts have him shown without his suit despite the audience having no clues on what he looks like underneath.
Since Yeva is the mother of Doll, many enjoy making family ships between the three.
