Mitsugis is the femslash ship between Mitsuru Kirijo and Aigis from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Aigis was created by Mitsuru’s organization by the former head of the Kirijo Group. Mitsuru first talks about Aigis from one of the former Kirijo Group researchers, Yuu. However, she and Aigis never met physically. Aigis and Mitsuru attend Gekkoukan High and are also members of SEES. Mitsuru and Aigis both call each other by their first names. Unlike her grandfather, Mitsuru treats Aigis like a person and views her as one of her companions and friends.
Mitsuru meets Aigis on the second day in Yakushima.
On November 3rd, when Aigis was ordered to kill Mitsuru’s father by Ikutsuki, Mitsuru begged her not to kill him. Mitsuru’s voice was enough to reach Aigis to resist her program temporarily and delay that order. The following day, Aigis and Mitsuru weren’t present in the evening at the dorm because Aigis was getting repaired and Mitsuru was attending her father’s funeral. Mitsuru does not hold a grudge against Aigis when she almost kills her father due to Ikutsuki brainwashing her into an emotionless machine. She is seen conversing with Aigis when they first arrive in Kyoto. She and Mitsuru, along with Yukari and Fuuka, are seen bathing in the hot spring.
Social Links[]
In the later game, Mitsuru and Aigis were the last SEES female Social Links for Makoto/Kotone’s routes.
The Answer[]
When Metis arrived at the dorm and started them, Mitsuru requested Fuuka to provide backup for Aigis due to being the only one who was capable of fighting Metis. Aigis and Metis face Mitsuru and Yukari in the final round in the fight for their keys. Before their fight, Mitsuru asks Aigis if she made her choice. She is concerned if Aigis didn't defeat their fallen comrades without a clear objective. Aigis responded by saying she did indeed made a decision and she knows what she wants to do.
Weird Masquerade[]
Like the film, Mitsuru’s interaction with Aigis isn’t explored much in 2-5.
In both routes for Act 3, Mitsuru requested Aigis to “execute” the guys (except Sakuya, who was hiding in his route), which she obliged and started “executing” Junpei, Akihiko, and Ryoji for peeping in the women’s bath.
Persona 4 Arena[]
After three years, Aigis continues to serve Mitsuru in the new organization, Shadow Operatives, which she created. They are involved in stopping an airplane hijacking. They both participate in a fighting tournament with Akihiko inside the TV world to find missing machine units like Aigis.
Mitsuru, Aigis, Akihiko, and Fuuka were captured by unseen enemies, crucified, and scattered across the newly created Dark Hour in Inaba. They were eventually saved by their allies and members of the Investigation Team.
