Mizuaki is the non-binary ship between Mizuki Akiyama and Akito Shinonome from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Mizuki and Akito are both second years at Kamiyama High School, though they're not in the same class (Mizuki is in 2-B, while Akito is in 2-A). Mizuki is best friends with Akito's sister. Mizuki first knew Akito as Ena's little brother, so they refer to Akito as "otouto-kun" (translated as "li'l bro" and/or "li'l brosef") which embarrasses him. Akito is annoyed by Mizuki, the latter who continues to tease him; they teasingly call Akito a loner after he declines Tsukasa’s offer to eat with him.
KAMIYAMA HIGH FESTIVAL![]
Mizuki and Akito meet for the first time during this event, and Mizuki recognized Akito's voice from the background of Ena's calls. Upon hearing Akito's classmates talking to him and referring to him with his surname, Mizuki approaches him and wants to know if he's Ena's younger brother. After introducing themself to Touya and Akito, Mizuki calls Akito "li'l bro" and asks if he's seen Ena around. Akito is surprised getting called "li'l bro", before answering he doesn't know and that she might be still sleeping. Mizuki expresses their disappointment before asking if there's anything exciting to do. After Touya invites Akito and Mizuki to go watch Tsukasa's play with him, Mizuki cheerfully agrees before asking if the two are really fine with hanging out with them.
The two have multiple area conversations at Kamiyama High School that are unlocked after completing the event story. In one, they discuss how naive Touya is and how Akito trusts Touya. In another, Mizuki shows Akito an article on women's fashion, and Mizuki realizes how much "Akito is like his sister". In the last area conversation, Mizuki calls Akito "li'l brosef," and he asks them to stop since he knows Mizuki calls Touya by his proper name. Mizuki remarks that Akito will always be Ena's "li'l bro" to them. Akito asks if Mizuki is calling him "li'l bro" and such on purpose to annoy him, and Mizuki just giggles.
The Gentleman Thief's Thrilling White Day?![]
The two are first shown interacting in the second chapter of the event, during lunch break. Mizuki approaches Akito who is about to take a nap in the courtyard. Akito remarks it's rare to see Mizuki at school and Mizuki says they just felt like coming to school, before asking Akito in a teasing tone if he likes chocolate. Akito doesn't deny it, saying he does like some good chocolate. Mizuki reveals there's a chocolate factory where everyone can make their own chocolates, how popular it has been on social media, and how people have made some really cute chocolates there. Mizuki mentions asking Ena and An to go with them, who had turned them down, and then shows Akito an advertisement about a world-famous chocolatier visiting the factory for a limited time. Mizuki tries indirectly suggesting they should go and have fun there together, before directly saying it after Akito says they could just get him some chocolate since they [Mizuki] were going there in the first place. Akito agrees to their invitation with a sigh.

The two face against each other in the first-year students' scavenger hunt during the Kamiyama High's Sports Festival. At first Mizuki has trouble keeping up with Akito due to this speed, but manages to overtake him while he's stuck on choosing a person for his assignment (or rather, not wanting to partner up with Tsukasa as he needs to choose a "very loud person" as his partner). Mizuki manages to overtake Akito for a moment thanks to Ena's help, with even Akito grumbling how Ena is always carrying "a lot of unnecessary stuff with her". Akito swallows his pride and runs to ask Tsukasa for help, demanding him to hop on his shoulders. Mizuki remarks they feel like they can win before Akito yells how he's not letting Mizuki to reach the goal line first. Mizuki is surprised that Akito managed to catch up to them so quickly, and is even more shocked upon seeing Akito and Tsukasa's team work. Mizuki then thinks how they really can't lose and start speeding up and taunts Akito. Akito gets annoyed from Tsukasa's remark and starts going even faster, causing Mizuki to get distracted and trip over. Mizuki raises up and despite pumping themselves up finishes as second. Akito runs up to them asking if they're alright, and Mizuki expresses their frustration and how next time they won't lose.

Mizuaki isn't very popular since fans would rather ship Akito with Touya and Mizuki with Ena. In fanart, Mizuki is often shown teasing Akito, or annoying him by talking about Ena and their relationship with her. Mizuaki currently has 28+ romantic works as well as 72+ gen works on AO3.
Some people are against Mizuaki because they see Mizuki and Akito as siblings. This is likely because Mizuki calls Akito "otouto-kun", "li'l bro" and/or "li'l brosef” and share a bickering dynamic. However, Mizuki only calls Akito that to tease him and because he is Ena's little brother.
