Mizushiho is the non-binary ship between Mizuki Akiyama and Shiho Hinomori from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Mizuki and Shiho are both second-year students who attend different high schools: Mizuki attends Kamiyama High School, while Shiho attends Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy.
Next To the Unchanging Warmth[]
The two met in a shopping mall where Mizuki spots Saki, who then proceeds to introduce them to Shiho. Upon hearing Shiho's surname, "Hinomori", Mizuki asks if she is Shizuku's sister, and if Shiho is the "Shii-chan" Shizuku often keeps talking about. Upon hearing this, Shiho becomes embarassed. When Saki is asked why she and Shiho were at the mall, Saki tells Mizuki that they were picking gifts, and Shiho was picking a gift for Shizuku. The two bond during the conversation, deciding on what Shiho should get her sister.
Yuuki, Mizuki's sister interrupts, offering to bring Shiho around so that they can pick a gift together. Shiho was reluctant at first, but upon hearing Mizuki mentioning their experience with Shizuku, Shiho becomes more embarrassed and asks if it's okay to ask Mizuki for suggestions. While picking gifts for Shizuku, Mizuki keeps in mind that Shiho seems to be an observant person and just how hard she is thinking about the gifts.
A while later, along with Saki and Yuuki, they arrive at a shop selling items with motifs. When Mizuki shows Shiho a bunny brooch, and asks if Shizuku would like it, Shiho blushes and finds the brooch cute, but quickly returns to her normal self when Mizuki looks at her.
Mizuki notices that the brooch comes in other colors and finds one that suits Shiho, and encourages Shiho to try it on. When Shiho declines, Mizuki teases Shiho by saying that they noticed Shiho calling the brooch cute, and Shiho denies it. Saki soon mentions to Mizuki that Shiho is fond of cute things, but is too afraid to try them on. Mizuki then says it's unfortunate to not see Shiho wear the brooch. The group splits up, with Shiho going to pay for Shizuku's gift, Saki buying something else, and Mizuki going with their sister. Mizuki finds it unfortunate they couldn't see Shiho wear the brooch, and thinks that Shiho feels that cute things might clash with her cool image.
Yuuki notices Mizuki thinking and asks if there's anything wrong, and Mizuki explains that they were thinking how Shiho could use the brooch in a way that suits her. Yuuki suggests that Shiho could put the brooch on a band or as a keychain, and tells Mizuki if they wanted, they could tell Shiho directly. Mizuki feels a bit embarrassed and hesitates for a bit, but Yuuki tells Mizuki that Mizuki thought of Shiho using the brooch only because Mizuki wanted Shiho to use more of what she liked.
Mizuki makes up their mind, and goes over to Shiho, presenting her the brooch, and suggesting ways for Shiho to place the brooch. Shiho is convinced, and Mizuki adds that if they saw her wearing the brooch in her own style, it would make them happy too. Shiho and Saki soon leave the mall.

Mizushiho is a big rarepair, and there is not much content as the pair did not interact until the Next to the Unchanging Warmth event, which is a more recent event. It is mainly rivaled by Mizuena and Shihonami, Mizuki and Shiho's most popular ships. Due to Mizushiho's lack of popularity, it is also rivaled by slightly less popular ships like Mizumafu, Mizukana, Ichishiho, Shihosaki and Polyneed.
Reasons fans like the ship could be because of them meeting in the story, with Mizuki encouraging Shiho to be more open about her interests in cute things, and teasing Shiho about it too. Other people may find the ship platonic and enjoy their dynamic.
